IT’S BOBBY’S WIFE! — Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) investigate Bobby’s home town where the dead are rising from the grave but instead of attacking humans, they are happily reuniting with their families. The brothers turn to Bobby (Jim Beaver) for help but he tells them not to worry about it and to leave town. Suspicious, Dean investigates and comes face to face with Bobby’s dead wife (guest star Carrie Anne Fleming) who has no memory of what happened to her. Supernatural - Episode 5.20 - Mark Sheppard to return as demon Crowley

Thanks to TVMONKEY for the heads up.

"I'm forming some kind of unholy alliance" with the Winchesters, the actor in question told The Watcher.

In the memorable November episode, "Abandon All Hope...," Sam and Dean met a demon named Crowley, who wasn't so keen on Lucifer walking the Earth (he guessed that once Lucifer wiped out the humans, the demons would be next). Crowley gave Sam and Dean the Colt, a powerful weapon that, as it turned out, didn't have much of an effect on El Diablo.

Well, Crowley will be back in cahoots with Sam and Dean toward the end of the season. Sheppard said he's going to appear in Episode 20 of Season 5 -- and don't be surprised if Crowley is around for more than one episode.

Even better news? "Supernatural's" Ben Edlund is writing Episode 20 (he also wrote "Abandon All Hope..." as well as any number of memorable Winchester outings).

Sheppard said he was looking forward to returning to Vancouver in a couple of weeks to work on the show. Crowley, who's not nearly as contemplative as "Supernatural's" Lucifer (Mark Pellegrino), is "real fun to play with," he said.

Thanks to Jaime for the heads up.

Supernatural has cast another of the Four Horsemen of the apocalypse.

Matt Frewer — best known for a recent role in Eureka and for playing the title character on Max Headroom — has been cast as Pestilence, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively. Pestilence creates and spreads disease.

Vampire Diaries, Supernatural and Gossip Girl among early CW renewals

"Our first brush with him in Episode 520 seems relatively innocuous and then unfolds into something more substantial," executive producer Sera Gamble said. "Put it to you this way: Horsemen on our show tend to think several moves ahead."

Throughout Season 5, we've met two of the Four Horsemen. War (Titus Welliver) and Famine (James Otis) have appeared, while the fourth Horseman, Death, has only appeared off-screen in one episode.

Update: 19th Feb Hi guys. Here is an update.

I have to apologise in that I had absolutely no idea how popular this would be. When I created it I thought that I'd get maybe 10 questions which I could easily manage. However we have received over 450+ questions in just 5 Days. I've no idea how I can personally go through these and give you all an answer and I'm truly sorry. I will try to find some time over the weekend to group/collate these into answers but your response has blown me away with the sheer quantity. Unlike Ausiello and Kristin who have teams of paid back room staff to help, I'm pretty much on my own with this so I need to find the time.

I really appreciate all your questions and I'll do my best to go through them and try to answer some of them.

We've removed the form to stop any more questions coming in
    -----

We're going to start a new regular feature here at SpoilerTV which we hope you'll like.

Much like Kristin (E!Online) and Ausiello (EW) that have their weekly Spoiler Chats, we thought we'd try to do one of our own. If you have a question about your favourite show, we'll try our best to answer it in our Weekly "Spoilers Revealed". Obviously we won't be able to answer all your questions but we will do our very best to answer as many as possible.

Please try to keep to 1 Question per week.

The form will be open from now until this Thursday, we will then post your questions and answers (hopefully!) on the Friday, and then open up the Question form again for the next set of questions for the following week. If this proves successful we hope to make this a weekly event.

Here is the latest Cancellation Index, and based on your feedback we've added some more shows to the index that we've previously not had on. These are from some cable shows such as USA, syfy, TNT, HBO etc. Also the CW announced a number of renewals recently and we've updated the table colour to reflect this.

This index is by no means a 100% accurate guide about if your show is safe or in danger and should be seen as a bit of fun.

So how safe is your show? Sound off in the comments. Also if you spot any mistakes or have any questions please let me know in the comments.

Supernatural - Will Misha Collins be in season six?

Denise in Janesville, Wis.: I'm hoping you can answer this question since it has turned into a very heated debate among the Supernatural fandom. The so-called hot topic is this: Does Misha Collins' contract with the show end this year, or does it run through the newly announced season six? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We checked on this for you, and insiders tell us that as of right now, Misha Collins' Supernatural contract is just through to the end of the current fifth season—in part because when his deal was being worked out, there was no such thing as a season six.

Sources close to the CW Award-winning Best Supporting Actor are "hopeful" that Misha will be asked back for season six, but as of right now, folks close to the recurring player are in the same holding pattern as the rest of us.

News about whether or not we'll get more Misha should come down over the coming weeks and months as the writing staff sorts out storylines for season six.

So, do you guys want to see more of Castiel/Jimmy in season six of Supernatural? Use the comments to tell the powers-that-be how you feel about Misha! It might make all the difference in the world...

Supernatural - Eric Kripke stepping down as showrunner?

Aw, hell. I had a bad feeling Supernatural’s early season 6 renewal came with an asterisk.

Sources confirm to me exclusively that creator Eric Kripke will be stepping down as the CW drama’s day-to-day showrunner next season. Executive producer Sera Gamble, who has been with the show since season 1 and is awesome, is poised to succeed him.

But, and this is a big but, Kripke will remain actively involved in the show — and not just in name only. Although CW and Warner Bros. reps declined to comment, a Supernatural insider assures me that Kripke and his current co-showrunner, Robert Singer, will continue to function as hands-on executive producers.

“Eric and Bob will be working very closely with Sera,” says the source. “They are not abandoning the show.”

Kripke has long said that he envisioned Supernatural as a five-season show. But in an interview last August, he clarified that stance. “I’m looking at this season as the [last] chapter in this particular story,” he told me. “That doesn’t mean there can’t be a new story. Buffy did it. The X-Files did it. You close a chapter on a big mythology storyline and then you begin a new one.” Asked whether he would be involved in a possible sixth season, Kripke hedged, “I don’t know. I’m going to cross that bridge when I get to it.”

Kripke is said to be finalizing a new deal with Warner Bros. that will feature a big development component. In other words, his diminished role on Supernatural will free him up to create another awesome show.

It’s all about the silver lining, kids! C’mon, work with me here!

Okay, fine. I’m sure all you’re seeing is the dark cloud that is Kripke’s big (euphemism alert!) career transition, so use the comments section to work through your anger issues.

Sera Gamble on Supernatural's sixth season - No Apocalypse!

I sent a note to "Supernatural" executive producer Sera Gamble when I heard about the show's renewal for a sixth season. I said I was happy to hear that the show would be returning, but I had to be a little cheeky and ask if viewers would be getting "The Apocalypse 2: The Squeakquel" next season. Here's her response:

"No, you will not be getting Apocalypse, The Squeakuel in Season 6 (that's hilarious)," Gamble wrote. "We're climaxing that story this season. We've been working on the Season 6 storyline for quite some time, and we're very excited about it. We have lots of ideas, and are grateful for the chance to keep the show going.

"Please tell the fans that the writers say thank you! We so appreciate the support."
