CIA - Pledge Of Allegiance - Review : Who Is Telling The Truth?

I feel like every single episode of CIA is a different TV show. I really like that we’re now playing both sides of the connection for the FBI and CIA. We are also getting to see a bit more of what the grey area really is for both Colin and Bill.

I love the comedy in CIA, I think they do it in such a great way that blends different types of humours and it doesn’t feel forced. For example Colin randomly calling Bill his boyfriend which made me burst out in laughter because I really was not expecting that, and Bill’s responses were absolutely hilarious.

This is a very heavy episode that focused on many different aspects but also the ending bought it round to a really nice place of forgiveness and development. I think deep down it shows how the core values of both the Colin and Bill do relate even if their respective agencies values don’t necessarily showcase that as much.

It was a really hard watch with Nikki and Patrick, she does such a great job of helping him remember who he really is deep down but also watching Patrick unfold all of that was really tough. Props to Lance Daniels because he had an absolutely incredible performance as Patrick this episode.

I like that we are now focusing more on who may be the mole within the CIA. If I’m being honest and this may be completely leftfield but my current personal feelings are that it may be Gina. I really didn’t like the look that she gave Nikki after she said that she had done a good job. She’s also the one that we know the least about and that’s saying a lot considering pretty much everything we know about Colin is a lie.

Also another reason why I think it may be Gina is because she’s the only one who knew where they were that doesn’t appear to have any incredibly with anyone on the team/was actually there. Obviously the high chances are Colin would never give away his whereabouts in order to get killed and there seems to be a large history between Nikki and Colin based on how much he wanted to save her when she was taken hostage.

I don’t know whether Bill has been trying to pretend like that there isn’t a mole and he’s just been doing his investigative work to please the higher-ups, but now after what has happened with how quickly their location was given away he now believes there is a mole, but I found it really interesting that he admitted to Jubal that he felt there was a mole.

I’m super excited to see where this leads us for the rest of the season and heading into the second season. Who do you think the mole could be and why?
