In this episode, Starkey is particularly effective in the quieter moments, where Rafe’s emotions seem to be constantly shifting beneath the surface. His facial expressions and body language convey the tension between Rafe’s aggression, insecurity, and desire to maintain control. It is a performance that benefits greatly from Starkey’s familiarity with the character, allowing him to communicate Rafe’s complicated state of mind even when the dialogue leaves things unsaid.

In second place we have Callum McGowan as Vikram Chamberlain on The Librarians: The Next Chapter.

Callum McGowan gives Vikram Chamberlain a strong presence in this episode, balancing the character’s confidence with a more vulnerable and emotionally grounded side. He handles the episode’s shifts between lighter adventure and more serious material naturally, making Vikram feel like more than simply the charismatic figure he can initially appear to be. McGowan is especially good at reacting to the other characters, using small changes in expression and delivery to show what Vikram is thinking before he actually says it. The result is an engaging performance that gives the character additional depth.

In third place we have Lola Petticrew as Catherine Grace on Furious.

Lola Petticrew brings considerable emotional intensity to Catherine Grace in this episode. Rather than overplaying the character’s feelings, Petticrew often relies on restraint, allowing pauses, expressions, and subtle changes in tone to carry much of the emotional weight. That understated approach makes Catherine’s more difficult moments feel immediate and believable.
