FBI - Long Shot - Review : Never Bench Someone Better Than You

Overall I think the most important thing to say is never bench OA. I mean that should have already been a given but this episode showed so clearly why he is such an asset to the team.

I loved the way this episode started, normally we see the crime take place and then see the team find out about what has happened. I think that was an incredibly engaging way to start, and then to have OA be benched for what happened really had me hooked.

I loved being able to see Zara again, the flirting between OA and Zara was top notch. I much prefer her to Gemma and would gladly see them again. Hopefully she and OA will continue to talk to each other, I also think it was so key to their future relations that she took the fall for him. She didn’t have to do that at all, but she did and made sure he knew it was because the FBI needed him.

His speech earlier in the episode was genuinely one of my favourite of the shows, we know OA loves his job but that truly showed how much it meant to him and he didn’t care how passionate he was about it because it was real.

I think there has to come a point where the FBI starts to look into Simon Ford because this is the second time that he or his business venture has been involved with terrorists. It is also the second time that he has been less than helpful by the end of the case.

Maggie and OA weren’t even a pairing this episode but somehow with a two second scene they managed to portray how important it is that they are partners. It has now been countless times that they have saved each other's lives and every time it’s like it isn't even a surprise that it happened.

I am truly so excited about next week’s episode, it gives me similar vibes to the Sarin gas episode in season 4!
