FBI - Daybreak - Review : A Continued Mystery

I definitely feel that this episode of FBI was in the top ten of their best ever episodes. I absolutely love when we get episodes that clear up a cliffhanger but the fact that this episode ended with a cliffhanger too was absolute perfection.

It was really great to see Eva back on our screens, I am really enjoying watching her partnership grow with Scola. Her knowledge from her time in the justice system really helped this episode.

I was truly shocked that OA hadn’t told Maggie about his break up with Gemma, normally those two tell each other everything. I am glad that he finally told her at the end of the episode but it was still a little bit heartbreaking to see him have to finally admit it. I don’t think it was necessarily about admitting it to Maggie and more about admitting to himself.

The entire plot line of this episode was so intriguing right from the job but what really hooked me in was when Oslo said “good to see you again Agent Bell”, from that point on I think I had my jaw permanently open.

I think it was really nice that we actually got to see the other side of Oslo, he wasn’t there to be the awful person he was last time. He was there to save his daughter and that is all he cared about regardless of him cementing his place in prison. I thought it was incredibly clever to have Oslo pretend to be someone else. I presumed when the bell first rang that it would have just been digitally altered and a different man would walk inside so I was utterly shocked when he started murdering everyone.

I truly can’t believe the end of this episode and I really don’t know if it means that the Tribune is within the government agency and is a contracted agent or if there is a deeper conspiracy within the government.

I genuinely cannot wait to find out what happens with this storyline!
