Apple TV+ has released the first trailer for its upcoming thriller series Down Cemetery Road, a suspenseful adaptation of Mick Herron’s novel of the same name. The eight-episode drama is led by two powerhouse performers: Academy Award, BAFTA, Golden Globe, and Emmy winner Emma Thompson, who also serves as an executive producer, and Golden Globe and two-time Olivier Award winner Ruth Wilson. The series will premiere globally on Wednesday, October 29 with its first two episodes, followed by new installments every Wednesday through December 10.
A Story of Mystery and Conspiracy
Set against the backdrop of a seemingly quiet Oxford suburb, Down Cemetery Road begins with a shocking explosion that rips through a neighborhood home. In the chaos, a young girl goes missing, sparking an obsession in Sarah Trafford (Wilson), a neighbor who refuses to let the disappearance go unanswered.
Her search soon leads her to private investigator Zoë Boehm (Thompson). Together, the unlikely duo finds themselves entangled in a far-reaching conspiracy, where the line between the living and the dead is disturbingly blurred. Secrets thought long buried rise to the surface, as both women uncover truths that put them in grave danger.
