Amazon Studios has acquired the rights to Aaron Foley's debut novel Boys Come First and is developing it into a television series. Field Trip will produce the show, with Will Graham, Hailey Wierengo, and Stephanie Dietz executive producing, and Chuck Hayward (Ted Lasso) writing the pilot and possibly serving as showrunner. Boys Come First is a humorously heartfelt story of three gay millennial Black men looking for love in contemporary Detroit.
