31st May 2019 - Marc Webb in Talks to Direct Live-Action Fairytale
Heigh-ho, heigh-ho, it’s off to Disney Marc Webb (The Amazing Spider-Man, Gifted) goes. The filmmaker is in talks to direct the studio’s upcoming live-action adaptation of “Snow White.”
While the deal isn’t finalized, sources tell Variety that Webb is the top choice to helm the movie.

31st October 2016 - Disney Developing Live-Action Adaptation
Disney has added Snow White to its development slate, eyeing a new live-action musical feature film based on its classic cartoon.
Erin Cressida Wilson (The Girl on the Train) is in talks to pen the script for the pic, which will feature new songs by La La Land songwriters Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. Marc Platt, who already is working on an update of The Little Mermaid as well as Mary Poppins and Wicked, is aboard to executive produce.
