CBS has given a pilot order to Evil, a supernatural drama from the creators of The Good Fight and The Good Wife, Robert and Michelle King, per The Hollywood Reporter. THR notes Evil has been an early frontrunner on the CBS development slate.
Written and executive produced by the Kings, Evil follows a skeptical female clinical psychologist who joins a priest-in-training and a blue-collar contractor as they investigate supposed miracles, demonic possessions, and other extraordinary occurrences. Together they try to determine if there's a scientific explanation or if something truly supernatural is at work.
