Joy Osmanski (Santa Clarita Diet, Devious Maids, Freakish), Neil Hopkins (Matador, Lost) and Nelson Lee (Mulan, Sneaky Pete, Ten Days In The Valley) have joined the cast of Stargirl per Deadline's exclusive. It is unclear to what extent these roles are, i.e. guest stars, recurring characters or series regulars. Geoff Johns will pen the premiere episode for the upcoming DC Universe live-action series of which is inspired by his late sister.

Joy Osmanski, Neil Hopkins, and Nelson Lee will take on the roles of Tigress, Sportsmaster, and Dragon King, members of The Injustice Society, a volatile group of master criminals.

The characters of Tigress and Sportsmaster have also been featured in DC Universe's animated series, Young Justice.

Stargirl follows High School sophomore Courtney Whitmore (Bassinger) who inspires an unlikely group of young heroes to stop the villains of the past. This new DC Universe series reimagines Stargirl and the very first superhero team, the Justice Society of America, in a fun, exciting and unpredictable series premiering in 2019, produced by Warner Bros. Television, Mad Ghost Productions and Berlanti Productions.

Joy Osmanski is Tigress. Protecting and providing for her family, Paula Brooks hunts the world's most dangerous game – humans – as the Tigress

Neil Hopkins is Lawrence "Crusher" Crock aka Sportsmaster, a longtime enemy of the Justice Society of America. He sees his criminal pursuits as a game to win — and his competitors as targets to kill. The only thing more important to Crock than 'the game' is his family.

Nelson Lee is Dragon King. A super-villain mastermind who hides his face and past. A deadly and mysterious hooded man... this controversial scientist has been experimenting on himself and his victims since the 1940s.

Osmanski, Hopkins, and Lee join previously announced cast members Anjelika Washington, Yvette Monreal, Christopher James Baker, Joel McHale, Lou Ferrigno Jr., Brian Stapf, Henry Thomas and Brec Bassinger.
