The CW is developing The Progeny, a drama based on the novel by Tosca Lee per Deadline. The project hails from Chris Roberts (Orphan Black, Frontier), Edward Burns' Marlboro Road Gang Productions (Public Morals, The Wheel of Time) and CBS TV Studios. Roberts will pen the script.
The Progeny centers on a young amnesiac who discovers she’s a descendant of history's greatest murderess, plunging her into a deadly underground war as she fights to stop a secret society that has preyed on her kind for centuries.
