The SpoilerTV 2018 Episode Competition - Nominations now closed

Update 16th June - Nominations are now closed! Check back on Monday for the start of the first round!

It's June, which means a few things. The traditional television season has come to an end, leaving us only with summer fare — although that doesn't mean a lack of shows to watch. For those of us in the northern hemisphere, the longest day of the year is coming as summer starts hitting its stride. Sport fan? The World Cup is just around the corner!

But today marks the beginning of competition season here at SpoilerTV, starting with the Episode Competition! Yes, that's right, we've been brought back for a sixth season — the movie is still being discussed — and we're as good as ever.

Every episode of television is special. Each one contains elements that make it stand out from the crowd. And now, SpoilerTV is giving you the opportunity to select your favourite episodes of TV from the past 12 months, and battle against others to don the crown of Spoiler TV's favourite episode.

ANY episode that aired from 1st June 2017 to 31st May 2018 can be submitted. Episodes that did not air during this period will not be included. Please do not try to submit episodes that did not air in this period, as they will not count and you will be wasting one of your nominations.

The top 64 episodes will enter the competition. However, if a particular show has more than two episodes in that top 64, only the two most voted for episodes will make it into the competition - thus giving other shows a better chance and preventing one show from dominating.

NOTES ABOUT SUBMISSIONS:
1. Please ensure that the episodes that you nominate have aired within the eligibility period as stated above. Episodes that aired outside of the eligibility period will not be counted and so you will be wasting a vote.
2. Please use the full show's title when submitting e.g. use The Walking Dead rather than TWD.
3. Please use the actual episode's name when submitting rather than any key word to describe it e.g. for the Supernatural finale you'd use Let the Good Times Roll instead of finale.
4. Please try to spell everything correctly as best you can as it will make my job of sorting through entries far easier.

Additionally, if anyone would like to submit episodes from Mr. Robot's third season, please only use the word part of the title when submitting. For example, if you'd like to submit the season premiere, please submit only power-saver-mode (rather than the full title, which is eps3.0_power-saver-mode.h). If you're unsure on episode titles, check out our database for the show to find them. Any questions, please leave a comment or send me an email (address below).

Only 1 Submission per person. If you try to submit multiple times ALL your submissions will be removed.

About The SpoilerTV Daily Newsreel

Every day 100's of items are submitted to us and we don't always have the time to make separate posts for the news and/or there is so much that it would quickly push all other items off the homepage.

So a result we've come up with the idea of the Newsreel, which will feature smaller shows and news items as they happen.

There will be a new Newsreel each day, and as news is added we will update the post and and push it back to the top of the site so that you can see that new items have been added. A tweet of the item will also be sent to our @SpoilerTV account.

New Items will be listed at the top of the article.

This will allow us to provide more news on more shows in a much more timely fashion
About Movie News Roundup

Rather that creating lots of new posts as new info is released and fragmenting the commentary, we thought it would be a good idea for the upcoming major movies to create a single post for each major movies that will collate all the info as it's posted.

New items will be added to the top of the list as well as the post being re-posted back to the top of the homepage when a new item is added. We will additionally send out a fresh tweet alerting you of the new information.

This will allow you to bookmark this page so that you can return to it whenever you like. It will also help consolidate all the discussion on this movie in a central place and make it less likely that you'll miss some key information.
