Inside the Episode

TVLine Interview

Thanks to TVBuff65 for the heads up.

But rest assured, Wally’s trip home to Blue Valley is only a temporary one. “Keiynan’s a regular,” co-showrunner Andrew Kreisberg assured reported on Monday after a screening of this week’s episode, “and we will see him again.”

“It’s difficult having two speedsters on the show, just creatively and financially,” the EP explained. “There are a lot of times where either Barry had to get knocked out so Wally could save the day, or Wally had to get knocked out so Barry could save the day — and just knocking them out, that costs a lot.

Hartley Sawyer EW Interview

How does he handle that the first time it happens?

Not well. Not well at all. It’s a shock and it’s horrifying for him and it leads to a lot of comedy, but it’s absolutely terrifying when his legs are just all the way through the lab and he stretches down the building and all that stuff, so he’s literally getting hung off of a building by these two thugs and he just begins to stretch and stretch and stretch and he stretches all the way down. They hung me upside down in a harness and everything, so it’s all been great. And that was kind of horrifying in its own way.
