The Royals - Season 3 - Max Brown Joins Cast as [Spoiler]

SPOILER ALERT: The story includes details about the Season 2 finale and a plot twist for Season 3.

EXCLUSIVE: He is alive! After strong indications in the Season 2 finale of The Royals that Prince Robert, long presumed dead, possibly survived when his plane was shot down, he will appear in the flesh. Max Brown (The Tudors) is set to play the oldest son of Queen Helena (Elizabeth Hurley) and the late King Simon (Vincent Regan). Brit Brown is joining the cast of E!’s first original scripted drama series in Season 3. The extent of his involvement is not being disclosed but I hear he would be a series regular.

Prince Robert is a regal, heroic young man whose love for his country is only superseded by the love he has for his family, despite their many flaws. The character has played a pivotal role on The Royals. His sudden death thrusted his younger brother, Prince Liam (William Moseley), into the spotlight. Now his return could help the lives of the Queen, Liam and Eleanor (Alexandra Park) who have gone down a destructive, tumultuous path in his absence.

Hurley, Moseley, Park and Jake Maskall (King Cyrus) will return as the scandalous royal family at the helm of a corrupt monarchy with Tom Austen reprising his role as the sexy yet duplicitous bodyguard Jasper and Genevieve Guant returning as Willow, close friend of Prince Liam.

Season three picks up two weeks after the execution of King Simon’s murderer who had plagued the royal family for months. Prince Liam and Princess Eleanor are at the height of their celebrity status, debate on who is the rightful heir to the throne continues, and the potential return of the presumed deceased Prince Robert would further complicate things.
