New Premiere Date

AMC has announced a new premiere date for FEED THE BEAST - Sunday night, June 5th at 10 p.m. ET, following episode two of another new series, "Preacher."

The move will bring an unforgettable night of original programming to AMC, take advantage of the escalating anticipation and lead-in potential of "Preacher" and will also offer viewers two full hours of "Feed The Beast" two days later when it arrives at its regular Tuesday night time slot on June 7th. On that night, viewers will be offered an encore of the show's premiere episode at 9 p.m. ET and its all-new second episode at 10 p.m. ET.

"Feed The Beast" had previously been scheduled to premiere on May 31st.

Below is the new rollout schedule for the show helmed by executive producer and showrunner Clyde Phillips ("Dexter," "Nurse Jackie") and starring David Schwimmer and Jim Sturgess:

Sunday, June 5:

9 p.m. ET., "Preacher" second episode
10 p.m. ET, "Feed The Beast" series premiere

Tuesday, June 7:

9 p.m.ET, "Feed The Beast" first episode (encore)
10 p.m.ET, "Feed The Beast" second episode, (new/first run) - show's regular time slot

"Feed the Beast" tells the story of Tommy Moran (David Schwimmer) and Dion Patras (Jim Sturgess) who are like brothers. With all the love - and all the COMPLICATIONS - that comes with it. For two friends on the brink of losing everything, a dusty pipe dream of opening up an upscale restaurant in their hometown of the Bronx is all they have left to turn their lives around.

For Tommy, a successful haute Hellenic restaurant is his means to give his son a life he never had. For Dion, this venture is a perfect opportunity to secretly repay his debt to the Mob. Together, they take on the insanity of the New York restaurant world, and navigate its underbelly of petty criminals, corrupt officials and violent mobsters.
