CBS has ordered Four Stars, a drama pilot from playwright/TV writer Becky Mode, CBS TV Studios and studio-based Timberman/Beverly Prods. RJ Cutler is set to direct the pilot, written by Mode.
Four Stars centers on two powerful rival families in the military community of Tampa, Florida who make decisions at the highest levels in the interest of national security. Mode and Cutler executive produce alongside Sarah Timberman and Carl Beverly. Becky, Sarah Timberman and Carl Beverly also developed a project together at CBS seven seasons ago.
