Exec producer Rob Thomas — the brainchild behind the current and former CW dramas — has tapped Mars grad Adam Rose to appear in the Season 2 premiere, airing Oct. 6. Rose will play Byron McCoy, a sensitive hipster prone to wearing ironic t-shirts and passionate about the arts.
