    Its funny that Damon is now like the 'normal' one of the group. The most well adjusted of the Salvatores in terms of his Vampire nature, because his no humanity version and his 'humanity lite' version is not too far different.

    The issue I have with the Ripper storylines.. and generally the No humanity storylines is that the power levels of the Vampires seem to drastically change. Older vampires get beaten around by newer vampires wheras the show always depicted the older the vampire the more powerful. Sure what happens fits the story pupose, but it just gets a bit bewildering.

    Huh. I always believed the ultimate stark contrast between Stefan and Damon was that Stefan sucked at being a vampire but was a master in handling his humanity. Damon sucked at controling his humanity yet he was a master at handling his vampirism.
    Apparently Damon only has his mama's looks while Stefan got the sweet personality (probably,. since she seemed to be loved as a human by everyone)and ripper genes from his mama.

    I DO think he's faking. And I think he'll push her til he starts to break, which will get her to turn it on. Her killing someone wouldn't be anything knew. He wouldn't go through all that just for her to kill someone. Nope. He's taking it to a completely different level to get her back, even if that means attempting to lose himself, b/c that's the one thing Caroline never wanted for him. He's playing on her control. Been saying that for the last few weeks. And I'm sticking to it. = )...it'll be very exciting.

    I think him faking it (which if he is, i've been right for 3 weeks) to the point where he could lose himself, seriously says so much. He really does lover her, iI believe that. Wholeheartedly. I'm kinda hoping she doesn't have an accent. Lol idk why, but I want her to be evil w/o one.

    I guess "attitude" & "NO Rules" is key for a humanity-free vamp. and why a younger vamp. can get the upper hand on a older vamp.


    With regards to the brothers - I had posted a few weeks back - that I have always believed Stefan to be the more dangerous of the 2 brothers - in fact Katherine pointed this same thing out in S2 - when she told Stefan she believed he liked to pay rougher (this was the scene when Damon was teaching Stefan how to play football and Katherine joins in).


    It will be interesting to see how much of the true ripper Stefan once was and how he deals with what he has done if he ever turns it back on. So my question is - Who is "transformation" Stefan that JP talked about...is it ripper Stefan? or is it the Stefan after he turns his humanity back on?

    Idk if he was hesitating, if anything he could've been getting the taste back. I mean like enjoying the taste (but he's still in control when he does it). I'm not thinking about their sexual relationship, or lack thereof. But i seriously don't want them doing it now. Through the way they are right now, and with all this chaos. All their scenes are so genuinely flawless, I seriously wouldn't mind if they waited til the season finale for that. What I WANT is for them to come back to each other (or more Caroline come back to Stefan) they go through of bump of an emotional rollercoaster-together. Then they start being a couple, or at least have 2 or 3. dates, (omg I can't wait to see what their first real date will be like!!) Before they sleep together. That's what iI want, just like that. I'm hoping Ric's wedding is their first date. Gah! I'll be so happy.

    I think Stefan will shut it off for real for a while because there have been articles where Ian says Stefan makes tough decisions that will change everything for him for a while and hinted that Stefan will go through a intense transformation so yes he will shut it off for a while. That's my opinion anyway.

    My Issue Gwen with late in the show Vampire Diaries is that, what we have learned previously dosnt apply so much anymore. Vampires are now of fluctuating power levels, Personalties change to the whim of the story. I think there are only a few characters on the show that can claim to have natural character progression. ( Caroline is probably the one that stands out most and has remained true to most of her core personality ) the longest.

    I would sorta put Damon in here, his personality has changed depending on his goal and the Elena influence. So pre elena and Post Elena.

    Stefan for me seem to change depending on the episode. I used to be able to read him quite well, but every season it gets more difficult.

    Jokes aside its possible that Stefan could be faking it to show Caroline that even when she has her switch off she still has humanity. If you think she didn't kill nayone yet and she had more than one opportunity, but she compelled Liam to do it, so maybe she couldn't.

    Holy crap! Hell has froze over. Lmaoooo. But yeah, Caroline's never seen him with his humanity off, so this will be an experience for her. But he won't become ripper. A lot of him staying in control (with the blood addiction) had to do with Caroline when she helped him with his PTSD. So even if he fed on someone he'd still have control, NOT to become ripper. I seriously think, (although I don't think it'll take that many to get her back) that he could feed on a good three people, before he went into ripper mood. B/c humanity-less Stefan does have control over that. (Even though he's faking. Lol) It's very clever of him. (And I'll kinda toot my own horn if I was right about it. Hehe) = )

I absolutely love how it symbolizes Stefan holding on to everything that was him and Caroline, while his eyes are closed, him remembering every moment with every fiber og his being, then he has to let it go to get her back, once his eyes open. I loveeeeeeee that. The flashes of them at the end was the best part of the video for me.
