"I definitely don't have a strong desire to act after Grey's," Pompeo said at a BuzzFeed Brews event Wednesday. "I don't find acting terribly empowering."
Though Pompeo's quick to add that she "would never say never" when it comes to acting in the future, she told BuzzFeed that she would prefer to get more involved on the development side of projects. "I don't necessarily want to work for other people," she said. "I did the absolute top of what I could do with television. ... I feel like I got the acting thing. I'd like to see if I could do something different and be successful at something different."
