Explosive from start to finish. Yes, indeed, literally and metaphorically. Three bombs in one episode will be enough to give me an aneurysm. What a shitty day for everybody at 15. They're definitely not having a blast this week. Pun intended.

Only Andy will say no to a shirtless Sam who's giving her the key to his heart.

Sam and Andy sexy times. Sam offered Andy a key to his place but she declined, afraid of screwing their relationship up. Well, tell that to Sam, not Chloe. I applaud Sam for try though, it is a huge step for the both of them and I’m happy Sam is feeling secure enough in their relationship to give Andy a key.
Nick and Andy had a little talk, so I guess Mccollins is officially over?

Marlo returns! And she struts down the street like a badass. The intelligence unit will be assisting 15 with the investigation and Marlo happened to the cavalry. I’ve heard about Rachael Ancheril coming back for a few episodes but this was not what I expected. I thought she would be fired or something. She looks good though. Glad to have her back. Andy does not look happy to see her. With Marlo’s return, will it threaten Sam and Andy’s relationship?

I like Marlo looking all fancy and professional.

Case of the week – a really intense one, involved bombings targeting the head of the Irish mob. Coincidentally, the man from last week’s episode named Theodore McDonald is responsible for the bombs because he’s seeking for revenge for his daughter who died at a similar bombing incident four years ago. By the end of the episode McDonald is missing and possibly plotting his next move for the finale.

Ok, I’m having mixed feelings about the adoption. I saw this coming from day one but refused to believe it because I thought it was unrealistic. What’s not unrealistic though, is Gail’s love for children. I don’t see how it is possible for Gail to adopt a kid. She’s single (it's complicated), she has a dangerous occupation that can be time-consuming, she shares an apartment with two other cops (one’s a drug addict by the way) and she’s still growing as an adult trying to find herself. Maybe being a mom is a piece of the puzzle she’s been missing all along, maybe it’s her calling. Who knows? But I think right now, both physically and mentally Gail is not ready to take on such a huge responsibility. I love Gail to death. But I don’t see how the adoption will go through, unless I’m wrong which I might be because I know nothing about adoption procedures. This is a delicate storyline, I’m really intrigued to see how the writers will handle it. I want Gail to be happy and if raising a child will make her happy then I’ll take it. I wonder how the Peck clan will react to this piece of news.

You've got to stop making lame excuses just to see Gail, Holly.

Let’s move on to Holly. I’m really happy she’s back, but it’s not exactly I how pictured it to be. Mirroring last season’s interrogation room scene, Gail and Holly shared some steamy kisses. I wanted them to talk and sort everything out, but we were promised with the hopes of the pair having the talk presumably in the finale. I want to see how Gail will bring this up to Holly. There are two ways to how I think it will go: Holly freaks and walks out on Gail. Will the writers pull a Calzona on us? She may or may not come back. Or, Holly will understand Gail’s decision and help her raise the kid. They live happily ever after, the end. I really hope is the latter. I really love Golly. But right now from my point of view, the Golly ship is about an inch away from hitting the iceberg.

Andy was still (rightfully) mad at Duncan at the beginning of the episode. He requested to be partnered up with Andy and Nick being the gentleman that he is, offered to switch with Andy. Duncan is back on the streets this week and made some stupid mistakes as usual. Not knowing that he’s the one responsible for the explosions, Duncan drove himself to McDonald’s house without back up to question him and bring him in. Duncan got hit in the head – which I totally didn’t feel bad about – and cuffed to the wheel sitting on a bomb under the truck. Nick and Andy had to save his ass which unfortunately, they did. Even though I kind of knew the bomb probably won't go off, it was a really intense scene between Nick, Andy, Duncan, Oliver and Bailey the ETF guy. Nope, I still don’t like Duncan even on the brink of his death. He’s still got a lot of making up to do to be written off of my shit list. I’ve got to give him some credit for having the guts to drive the squad car, though. Back in the day, I don’t think any of the original rookies would’ve done that.

What's with Duncan and getting stuck in vehicles?

Trouble in nerd paradise. Chloe told Dov about the kiss under reluctant circumstances and now they are going through a rough patch. I bet we will see more of Wes.

So one more episode left before the very short season ends! Still not over the fact that we were supposed to have 22 episodes. I will never get over it. What do you guys want to see in the finale? What did you think of this episode? Be sure to catch the finale on August 6!

Also, I want to see Celery in the finale, it’s been too long!
