Bones: Episode 9.15 - The Heiress in the Hill - Review

I liked this episode, Booth and Brennan had to deal with an issue that most married couples have to deal with… Money! Which I'm surprised it hasn't come up before, considering the amount of money Brennan is worth.

Finding out that Hodgins has an older, mentally ill brother was a great way to find out about his past. Hodgins to me, has always been a mystery; Who is the man behind the mask? Now we know a little be more about his life, he has a brother named Jeffery.
The case was a little plain, seems like the writers just needed a filler murder storyline in order to tell the rest of the plot, but it was cute.  It had a good twist at the end.  Lauren, the victim thought she was getting away with faking her own kidnapping and running away with the ransom money. But instead she dies from a penicillin shot, that her parter in crime ( the dog walker) gave her because the wound from her toe, that they cut off to send her father got infected.

In my option, Lauren got what she deserved. To put her own father through such pain and unknown fate about his daughter, is just horrible. Not to mention what Lauren put the dog walker through, tricking him into thinking they where going to run off together. Instead she was going to take off with another man…

Over all I liked this episode, it had a nice flow, good story and a good twist at the end. I hope we get to see more of Hodgins brother in the near future instead of him disappearing back into the home.

Booth and Brennan offering Hodgins the money for his brother to stay in the home was very sweet. I kind of know that Hodgins would have turned it down because he is use to doing things on his own. So instead they decided to spend the money on the Wounded Warriors Project which shows the true heart of the show.
