Quote of the Week - 19th January 2014

A weekly feature highlighting the best quotes on TV this past week.

American Horror Story: 'Protect the Coven'; 15th January; Jessica Lange/Frances Conroy/Michael Cristofer
Fiona: "Here's my other offer. You can all just die." This quote was also picked by Sharon Seymour
Myrtle: "Madison, you are the worst kind of Hollywood cliche. You are a bubblehead with crotchless panties."

Sharon Seymour: Madison: "Welcome to the revolution, Carrot Top. As the next Supreme, I'm gonna drag this Coven out of the Dark Ages."

Arrow: 'Blast Radius'; 15th January; Susanna Thompson, Stephen Amell/Paul Blackthorne
Bradley Adams:
Moira: "You've taken Oliver's...hobby, and turned it into a successful business." Oliver: "Hobby?"
Quentin: “Maybe because Aunt Maya is nuttier than a Snickers bar.”

Banshee: 'The Thunder Man'; 17th January; Odette Annable
Sharon Seymour:
Soldier: "Who the fuck are you?" Nola: "I'd tell you but you won't remember anyway." (Then she knocks him unconscious)

Castle: 'Deep Cover'; 13th January; Nathan Fillon
Ann-Sophie Hamel:
Castle: "I keep making the mistake of thinking he's family but he's not. You are. September. We're getting married in September. It won't be too hot it won't be too cold. It's in the Goldilocks zone, it's perfect."

Person of Interest: '4C'; 14th January; Samm Levine/Jim Caviezel/Sarah Shahi/Michael Emerson
Bradley Adams:
Owen: "You seem like an angry guy. Do you wanna talk about that? I feel like you wanna talk about that." Owen had some of the best lines this week.
Reese: "You computer guys, you build something you can't control. And when it backfires, you won't accept responsibility. Have you really made anything better? Does it look like you've stopped the violence?" Person of Interest seems to like the double conversation thing recently. Speaking to someone while aiming it at the person on the phone. Very cool.

DarkUFO: Shaw: "I always liked you Hersh. Even after you killed me."
Owen: "Whoa! What's with the conspiracy theories, Mr. Dark and Stormy?"

Jimmy Ryan: Finch: "Mr Reese, I understand your frustration with the opacity of The Machine but there's a reason I chose to make it that way. The Machine only gives us numbers because I would rather that a human element remain in determining something so critical as someone's fate. We have free will, and with that comes great responsibility, and sometimes great loss. I miss her dearly too."

Sharon Seymour: Owen: "Your hair looks fine. That salt and pepper thing is like catnip to soccer moms."
Owen: "I thought you got rid of that walking steroid?"

Revenge: 'Endurance'; 12th January; Emily VanCamp/Joshua Bowman, Nick Wechsler/Gabriel Mann
Ann-Sophie Hamel:
Emily: "Hate is a lot like love. You can't force it, you can't fight it. You just have to embrace it when it comes along."

Virginia Fontana: Daniel: "You think you know everything, don't you?" Jack: "Yeah, I do. Now pick yourself up and get the hell out of my bar."
Nolan: "Save it. I've already got four episodes of 'Patrick Says I'm Sorry' saved on my DVR."

Revolution: 'Mis Dos Padres'; 15th January; Billy Burke/David Lyons
Bradley Adams:
Miles: "You're a dick." The Miles/Monroe interactions are fantastic. Very funny and enjoyable to watch.

Virginia Fontana: Monroe: "Wow, your boss has really nice taste. It’s like Donald Trump threw up on Scarface."
Monroe: "What was I supposed to do? He’s my son." Miles: "Oh shut up, you've been his Dad for five minutes, and all of sudden you’re Cliff Huxtable?"

About Movie News Roundup

Rather that creating lots of new posts as new info is released and fragmenting the commentary, we thought it would be a good idea for the upcoming major movies to create a single post for each major movies that will collate all the info as it's posted.
