This episode mainly focused on Severide vs. Hadley. His full name is Kevin Hadley. It was revealed that he was let go because he exhibited poor behavior towards another firefighter. While a decent reason, McLeod wasn't happy that Chief Boden let him go without filing to human resources department. If that happened in real life, the chief would be facing internal affairs and possible administration leave. Severide's father, Benny offered to help him investigate the case. In a surprise twist, it was revealed in this episode that Hadley wanted to watch what the firefighters were doing despite of his termination from 51 as opposed to starting the fires. Severide prematurely assaulted him and this may cause Hadley to get irritated. Now, Severide has to go back to step 1 to see who has been targeting him. To get his mind off things, Shay and Severide get a drink at Molly's but it doesn't help as he makes Cruz upset for stealing a girl that he tried to pursue earlier in the episode. One positive thing to note this week is that Severide is finally moving in with Shay in their new apartment.

Elsewhere, Griffin is not having a good time staying with Matt Casey as he misses his mother. Grieving over his father's death and his mother serving time in prison, he gets into trouble for taking his anger out an innocent boy beating him up. He nearly gets kicked out of school until Gabriela acts as his girlfriend and defends Griffin to the principal. The principal believes Casey and her and they go back to their shift. The children happily go see their mother in jail, which made Griffin's week a little better. Later that night, Ben tells Griffin to make Matt promise him that he'll always be there for him. The bonding moment between Casey and the children having ice cream was priceless.

Meanwhile, Chris Herrmann believes that Jeff Clarke has been snitching on his own co-workers. We may think he's the mole of Firehouse 51, which I agree with for now.

I really enjoyed Mena Suvari's guest appearance as Isabella. She will be handling Mouch's campaign for union president for a few episodes. She is also one of Gabriela's best friends and Peter Mills tries to pursue a relationship with her. To my surprise, Gabriela took it very well.

Gabriela Dawson's boyfriend's name is revealed, which is Jay (Jesse Lee Soffer). Just when things are going well between her and Jay, it turns out he only went to visit Molly's to take some commission money off of the bar with Arthur (Mike Starr), the bar investor from Season 1 in 2 episodes. This makes her so mad that she asks Jay to get out of her bar!

Verdict: I give this an A- because of twists in this episode and the drama that has caused me to be hooked with this show since the premiere from last year. It really made me sad that Jay was just using Gabriela to do his job for Arthur. Also, I wanted to see more of Clarke and Herrmann fighting before it was interrupted by Hadley. However, I'm sure that the writers will reveal more about whether Clarke is the snitch or not. Other than those two cons of the episode, it was another excellent episode and I can't wait for another new episode in 6 days!
