TNT drama “Falling Skies,” headlined by former “ER” star Noah Wyle, returned on Sunday with 4.2 million viewers for its two-hour season opener. Results among 18-49 (1.9 million) and adults 25-54 (2.1 million) were close to year-ago levels, while 772,000 viewers in the adult 18-34 demo for “Falling Skies” was 24 percent above last year’s season premiere.
