After a rather dull season premiere, Burn Notice is back and better than ever, but that doesn't mean everything is as it used to be. Mike returns to Miami, settles back into his house, marries Fiona immediately, and they all lived happily ever after. Oh wait... I forgot this is no fairy-tale. As the last episode showed us, Fi has a new boyfriend and things are going to get a little heated. Beyond the drama between the newly introduced love triangle, things are even worse for the team. With the introduction of Heroes alum Jack Coleman & Adrian Pasdar, Michael is off on a new mission and has not spoken to his family or friends in nearly a year.

The episode starts off with Madeline running wild after her realization that she had unknowingly revealed TOP SECRET information to the bad guys. She goes on and on about how she may have gotten her son killed. She does not have the advantage of knowing that Michael took care of that in the last episode. Well kind of. The man who she gave all of this information to is still on the loose. Maddie decides that instead of sitting tight in her house, she is going to see the FBI on her own and they will let her know everything that is going on. As I'm sure everyone can guess, this doesn't go as planned.

While I did enjoy the present time action of this episode, I very much liked the flashbacks that Burn Notice decided to throw our way in the final season. Burn Notice is a show that has normally shied away from flashbacks and seeing them in one of the first episodes of the final season was quite refreshing. I don't want to give away too much, but I will tell you that it involves something that has long been talked about involving Mike and Fi.

What I really enjoyed about this episode over the premiere episode was that it got all of our favorite characters back together in some format. I can tell you that the main characters all meet up in some way, but it isn't pretty. Anyone that was disappointed in the premiere, have no fear because this is the episode that you have been waiting for.

Favorite Quotes/Moments:

"Please tell me you were not listening this morning." - Sam Axe (If this doesn't sound funny, just wait for the episode and then you'll get it.)

There is a moment towards the end of the episode that linked the flashbacks and the present time together perfectly. Very well done.

Score : 9/10
