It was a pretty big Monday night for Castle fans, with the centenary episode in the series airing. So how did it fare??. Read on to find out

Let's start off at 8pm, where ABC's Dancing With The Stars and NBC's The Voice dominated the ratings and audience for the evening, in their usual 8-10pm timeslots. Dancing With The Stars was down two tenths of a ratings point and just over half a million viewers on last week's episode, with this week's episode earning a 2.2 rating and 13.91 million viewers. After a premiere just 3 weeks ago, the drop has been pretty significant for Dancing With The Stars. I wonder if the ratings could hit 2.0 later on in the season?? It is becoming more of a possibility each week. As for The Voice, this week's 4.7 rating was only 0.1 of a ratings point down on last week, and with 13.31 million this week's episode was down around 300,000 viewers on last week

Also at 8pm was FOX's Bones did better than last week's season low equaling ratings and audience performance, but only just, with this week's episode earning a 2.0 rating and 7.05 million viewers. Last week's episode earned a 1.9 rating and 6.96 million viewers, making this week's episode only marginally better in terms of statistics. See Bones's season 8 statistics thus far here

The entire Monday schedule this week was CBS repeats, with a repeat of How I Met Your Mother at 8pm earning a 1.1 rating and 3.88 million viewers, followed by a Rules of Engagement repeat which also earned a 1.1 rating, and 3.72 million viewers

9pm saw Dancing With The Stars and The Voice continue on ABC and NBC respectively, while FOX's terrific freshman The Following aired, earning a new series low rating and audience in the process, with this week's episode receiving a 2.2 rating and 6.57 million viewers. Considering there was only repeat competition from CBS and Dancing With The Stars and The Voice were down, I wonder where all the viewers are going?? For the record, the 9pm repeat of 2 Broke Girls and the 9:30pm repeat of Mike & Molly, both shared the same 1.4 rating, with Mike & Molly winning the audience battle between the pair with 5.13 million viewers versus 2 Broke Girls's 5.01 million viewers

Finally, to the 10pm timeslot now, where ABC's Castle aired its 100th episode. Castle's rating equaled that received by Dancing With The Stars for the second time this season. A season high 11.79 million people tuned in, making it the third most watched show of the night. The DVR results for Monday's episode will make for interesting reading as well, because the 100th episode really was fantastic

Also at 10pm was NBC's Revolution, which, despite similar performances week to week from The Voice, earned a new series low 2.2 rating and 6.36 million viewers from its second episode back from hiatus, well down on the previous series low 2.6 rating and 7.02 million viewers. It's also the first time that Revolution has equaled the ratings of Castle. Perhaps a ratings win for Castle is on the cards in the near future?? Revolution has probably done enough early on in the season with very impressive ratings to secure a second season, but it is looking less convincing. If there isn't an increase in ratings and viewers next week, then NBC top brass may be having doubts. Remember Smash did a similar thing in the same timeslot last season. You can see Revolution's statistics thus far here

A repeat of Hawaii Five-0 on CBS at 10pm earned a 1.1 rating and 5.35 million viewers, making it CBS's most watched repeat of the night. It clearly didn't help Revolution, with Castle seemingly benefiting the most with its season high audience.

Finally, let's take a look at the results of the poll in which you guessed the ratings and audience for Castle's 100th episode

A significant majority, 31.6%, believed the episode would receive a 2.5 or higher rating. Unfortunately that wasn't the case, with 19.7% of people - the third most popular category - selecting the correct answer of 2.2. Marginally in front were those who voted for a 2.3 rating, with 21.% of the vote, while marginally behind were the 18 8% of people who voted for a 2.4 rating. Just 5.6% of voters believed the 100th episode would earn a 2.1 rating

Things were much closer in the audience poll, with the votes spread thin between the 10.5 - 11 million viewer selection, and the optimists who selected More than 13 million. With Monday's episode earning 11.76 million viewers, 16.9% of voters correctly picked the 11.5 - 12 million viewer category, the third most popular, with the 10.5 - 11 million viewer category earning the slim majority of the vote, at 18%. 17.5% of voters guessed 11 - 11.5 million viewers, and for the record, 49 optimists, or 14.8% of the voters, selected the More than 13 million viewer option
