Psych - Episode 7.05 - 100 Clues - Review

First of all, season 7 is gradually becoming one of my favorites. Tonight, the show hits the 100-episode mark with another great episode. To celebrate this big event, the creators are inviting the viewers to choose their own ending, both East and West Coast, out of three possibilities. Much like in the original Clue movie. And it’s just one of many references to the film, which Psych pays tribute to this time. The list of guest stars for this episode is a very impressive one (Christopher Lloyd!) and the plot is definitely engaging.

Shawn and Juliet Gus are invited to a VIP party thrown by a has-been rock star that quickly turn into the murder mystery night for our heroes. Somebody’s killed and everyone’s a suspect, even Shawn and Gus. Well, Gus. Well… It might just be Lassie being Lassie. Still, the idea of everyone getting stuck in a beautiful mansion with the killer (who’s not done!) on the loose, is very well executed.
I think the episode is pretty fantastic, even though I don’t even know how it ends. And among my favorite bits are the hilarious scenes where the group is just running around the house(a lot!) and “Excuse me” constantly repeated by the butler. Gotta love the butler. Of course there are also many, many great moments to look forward to. Gus and Shawn reactions to some things, their “arrangements”, also some singing, secrets from the past getting revealed and a strange, freaky noise. Oh, and not so average pet that keeps everyone IN the house.
Just the kind of things you’d expect to see on Psych. And more. For all the fans, the good fun is guaranteed. So, enjoy watching!

Don’t miss a new episode of Psych, airing tonight, March 27 at 10/9C on USA.
