The Hundred is.. a very odd choice for the CW and honestly doesn't seem like a good fit for the network, it seems more like a SyFy show. The show is set 97 years after a nuclear war destroyed civilization, leaving only a small group of survivors living in a spaceship with very strict rules, for example anyone having more than one child is executed.
The most expendable 100 people, people who have committed crimes or are even set to be executed are given a second chance, to be sent back to earth to investigate the possibility of decolonizing the planet, much like 'Lost' the majority of the show takes places with the delinquents stuck together in the wild on earth though there is a subplot aboard the spaceship.
On the whole the show is very slow paced and character based with ultra cheesy dialogue.
