Engrenages (Spiral) - Season 4 - BBC première date
3 Feb 2013
Canal PlusThis is news worthy of cracking open a bottle of champagne like Gillou & Amina or smiling like Laure : Spiral's latest season will début next Saturday on the BBC !
Indeed, starting on Saturday, February 9 at 9pm on BBC Four, Spiral season 4 (12 episodes) will air with back-to-back episodes each week until the finale on March 16. DVDs will be released on March 25.
Series 4 is billed by BBC Four as "State of Terror" (season 3 also had a subtitle : "The Butcher of La Villette").
Four months after it aired in France (September 3 - October 9), season 4 of Engrenages will take Borgen's spot.
By the way, in a recent interview, Fabrice de la Patellière (CEO of C+'s original scripted programs) revealed that season 6 will happen (the main cast had signed for three more seasons after season 3). It'll start being written as soon as the writers are done with season 5. Canal+ wants to speed things up and be able to deliver season 6 a year after season 5, the same way they want to deliver season 5 less than 18 months after season 4, compared to the 27-month gap between season 3 and 4 (June 2010 to Sept 2012), which De la Patellière admitted was "too much".
