Homeland — Claire Danes on The Colbert Report

Last night, Claire Danes appeared on The Colbert Report, hosted by The Rev. Sir Dr. Stephen T. Mos Def Colbert.

She was supposed to appear on Wednesday, February 15, but Colbert cancelled that show (and the next one as well) because his 91-year old mother was seriously ill. Thankfully, she got better and Colbert resumed work February 20.

It's very unusual for Colbert to have fiction stars on his show (and when he does, it's often for things that are not TV series/movies). As it turns out, William Shatner was invited Wednesday night (he was here for his Broadway play, and Claire Danes is invited because Homeland deals with terrorism and the CIA), but still, 85% of the time it's politicians, journalists, writers or documentary filmmakers.

Without further ado, here it is, enjoy :

I can't tell you how much fun it is to watch The Colbert Report. Wait, I can ! Well, it's really, really fun, even if like me you're not especially interested in politics. Colbert's act and the lengths he goes to are often laugh out loud funny.

The Colbert Report airs weeknights at 11:30pm on Comedy Central, right after The Daily Show.

Speaking of Comedy Central, South Park (season 16) and Ugly Americans (season 3) start on Wednesday, March 14.
