In Short: I watched a lot of tv shows (mostly pilots) in 2011. sometimes i stayd tuned, like this time with SHOWTIMEs Homeland.
i dont wanna write much at this point, but some things, i just have to kick out of my mouth. So, here we go.

i loved to see crime series LIFE, starring Damian Lewis back in the days, so it was a go, to check out howard gordons new baby HOMELAND. And u know what, i didnt regret it. The show is great, and has a story to tell, which is kind of different normaly seen in tv.

Its a psycho-thriller where u (as viever) never know exactly, whats going on right there. I mean, whats really going on. not what it seems to be. The shows biggest mystery: is Marine Nicholas Brody, a potential national security risk? Brainwashed by Alkaida, just to do some terrorism in the US? Or is he just the kind of guy, who is moving on. With his family. Trying to life a native life. starting new. and leaving behind the badass sh*t happened in the past years of torture and isolation?!?!

Homeland is interesting, (wheter i couldnt identificate myself with one of the show characters). Different. The show opens a paranoid world, we all have heard of, but most of us were never part of it. and hopefully, we/i never will. I liked to watch every episode, cause rightintime and while collecting new informations, i get another point of view. So. Is Nicholas Brody? Or isnt he? Homeland is exciting. paranoid. Psycho-thrilling. captivating. i enjoyed watching!

what about u? Did u followed the show? Liked it? How many stars would u rate?

The series follows Carrie Mathison, a CIA operations officer who, after conducting an unauthorized operation in Iraq, is put on probation and reassigned to the CIA's counterterrorism center in Langley, Virginia. While she was conducting the operation in Iraq, Carrie was warned by an asset that an American prisoner of war had been turned by Al-Qaeda. Carrie's job is complicated when her boss, Director of the Counterterrorism Center David Estes, calls Carrie and her colleagues in for an emergency briefing. It is then that Carrie learns that Nicholas Brody, a U.S. Marine Sergeant who had been reported as missing in action since 2003, has been rescued during a Delta Force raid on a compound belonging to terrorist Abu Nazir. Carrie comes to believe that Brody is the American prisoner of war that her asset in Iraq was talking about. However, the federal government and her superiors at the CIA consider Nicholas Brody a war hero. Realizing it would be next to impossible to convince her boss, David Estes, to place Brody under surveillance, Carrie approaches the only other person she can trust, Saul Berenson. The two must now work together to investigate Brody and prevent another terrorist attack on American soil.
