Monsters and Critics: Being Erica’s back again and of course, we all want to know what’s going to happen now!!! What can you reveal?
Sebastien Pigott: Nothing!!! No, I'm just kidding. They will string me up if I reveal certain things. So I'll have to tread carefully here. I can tell you that Erica takes her next big steps towards becoming a doctor and takes on not one (or two, or three) but SEVERAL patients with varying degrees of success.
I can reveal that Kai hates this Irish fellah who's stolen his lady's heart, and I can reveal that Kai intends to steal her from him. With violence if necessary.
M&C: What brings Kai back into the picture?
Sebastien Pigott: I don't know. [Grin!] We’re not that far along. I know that Kai is madly in love with Erica, and he's never been the type to let anything stand in his way. Not even the basic laws of time and space.
M&C: Kai and Erica have a really turbulent relationship. And he’s back and she’s with her steadiest fella, so where does that leave Kai?
Sebastien Pigott: Hurt and angry. Once again, I don't think Kai's the type to let anything stand in his way, least of all some smarmy, Irish... Sorry. I got carried away.
M&C: How has Kai changed over time?
Sebastien Pigott: I think he's become a man. When we first met him he was very much an adolescent, shirking his responsibilities and living only for himself. But even in the episodes we did for season three, it's really clear that he's started to take this therapy thing seriously, and we really see the fruits of that. He seems like a much healthier person.
