-Ratings Breakdown:
It was a typical Friday of low-rated shared leadership, with CBS the most-watched network and Fox No. 1 among adults 18-49. Not a single series even cracked a 2-rating in the demo.

CBS aired an evening of all repeats, beginning with NCIS: Los Angeles (Viewers: #1, 7.69 million; A18-49: #3, 1.1/ 4), followed by CSI: NY (Viewers: #1, 8.17 million; A18-49: #4, 1.2/ 4), and a Friday 10 p.m. edition of Hawaii Five-O (Viewers: #2, 7.19 million; A18-49: #3, 1.3/ 4). And Fox ran recent returnee Kitchen Nightmares (Viewers: #3, 4.05 million; A18-49: #1, 1.7/ 6) and relocated Fringe (Viewers: #3, 4.57 million; A18-49: #1, 1.9/ 6). While Fringe is certainly no blockbuster, growth of 12 percent among adults 18-49 is a positive.

Effective next Friday, freshman CBS drama The Defenders moves into the 8 p.m. hour.

Second-place NBC had an above-average Friday courtesy of a repeat of game show Minute to Win It (Viewers: #2, 4.31 million; A18-49: #2, 1.2/ 4 at 8 p.m.), followed by a two-hour edition of Dateline at 7.31 million viewers and a 1.8/ 6 among adults 18-49 from 9-11 p.m. Here is the half-hour breakdown:

Dateline (NBC)
9:00 p.m. – Viewers: 6.21 million (#2), A18-49: 1.4/ 5 (#2)
9:30 p.m. – Viewers: 7.52 million (#2), A18-49: 1.8/ 5 (#1t)
10:00 p.m. – Viewers: 7.82 million (#1), A18-49: 1.9/ 6 (#1)
10:30 p.m. – Viewers: 7.66 million (#1), A18-49: 1.8/ 6 (#1)

Next Friday on NBC marks the season-premiere of Who Do You Think You Are? from Lisa Kudrow.

Elsewhere, ABC kicked-off the night with a repeat of Supernanny (Viewers: #4, 3.55 million; A18-49: #4, 0.9/ 3 at 8 p.m.), which is exiting this spring, followed by a combination of original and repeat segments on Primetime: What Would You Do? (Viewers: #4, 4.56 million; A18-49: #3, 1.3/ 4) and the story of four homeless teenagers on veteran 20/20 (Viewers: #3, 5.92 million; A18-49: #2, 1.7/ 5). And the CW aired repeats of The Vampire Diaries (Viewers: #5, 1.33 million; A18-49: #5, 0.6/ 2) and Nikita (Viewers: #5, 1.06 million; A18-49: #5, 0.4/ 1).
