“Bottoms Up” begins with Vince in a club talking to a girl as Drama, E, and Turtle sit at a table nearby. Drama asks why he recognizes her, and Turtle informs him that she’s the porn actress Sasha Grey. Turtle also tells him that she’s entered into mainstream acting and is in the new Stephen Soderberg movie. Lavin joins the guys at the table, and they begin a discussion on their sexual exploits. Vince brings Sasha over to meet the guys before they head home together.

At Ari’s house, his concern about Lizzie stealing his clients is beginning to take a toll on him, which becomes obvious to his wife during sex. When he arrives at the TMA office, he checks with Lloyd and Barbara to see if any of their clients has been contacted by Lizzie, and in the morning meeting with all his agents he informs them of what she is doing. Ari then tells them that if any of their clients, no matter their stature, are considering leaving that he will talk to them directly. He tells Jake to call Mike Tyson, Aaron Sorkin, and Jessica Simpson (who have all been contacted by Lizzie) so he can work his magic.

Back at Vince’s house, Sasha cooks breakfast when Turtle brings in a case of Avion Tequila for Vince to try to see what he thinks about the product. The three all take a shot and agree that it’s great (before taking two more shots). Turtle tells Vince that he’s going to help promote it and may want Vince to be involved, but tells him that he’ll talk to E about the details.

Drama, concerned that he hasn’t heard from John Stamos about the show, calls E to have him check into it. When E asks his secretary if she’s heard anything, she tells him that she hasn’t but that Bob Saget is waiting in his office. Saget is upset that E ignored his calls that morning, and goes on to inform E that he got a script for a show he’s interested in from John Stamos. He tells E that he talked to Phil Yagoda, who agrees that Bob would be a good fit.

After making his calls, Ari meets with Mike Tyson to discuss his career. Tyson tells him that he wants to get involved with a TV show; something that is family friendly (The Black Brady Bunch) in hopes of improving his image. Ari tells him that he’ll work on it for him, and has already put a call in to Todd Philips to make sure Tyson is in The Hangover 2, as long as Tyson commits to TMA. As they shake hands, Jake comes in to tell Ari that Jessica Simpson is on the phone. She’s surprised that she’s being asked to come in for a meeting, considering she hasn’t heard from Ari in a year. He tries to apologize, but she shuts him down and tells him that she’s going with Lizzie (but won’t tell him where that is).

Drama joins E in his office and is not too pleased with the news about Bob Saget trying to steal his role. E tells him Stamos would be interested in doing it with Drama, but he and Saget are good friends. Drama storms out of the office to have a talk with Bob Saget. As Drama leaves, E gets a call from Turtle, who says he wants to have a meeting about Vince. E claims to be too busy for a meeting, but Turtle tells him he’s going to come to his office anyway.
Ari and Lloyd drive to Jessica Simpson’s house so Ari can bring her a new puppy to make up for her dog that died (a year ago) in hopes of enticing her to stay with TMA. Unfortunately, she’s not impressed and slams the door in Ari’s face.

Vince, with Sasha in tow, heads to his meeting for Airwalker with Randall Wallace and Stan Lee. Drama arrives outside Bob Saget’s house with a baseball bat in hand, threatening Saget for stealing the role that was written specifically for him. However, Saget claims that Roger Jay (the writer) actually wrote the script for Saget months ago, he just never opened it. Although Saget’s lady friend offers Drama a consolation prize, he sulks away in despair.

At Murray/Berenson, E tells Turtle that he doesn’t think it’s a good idea for Vince to promote Avion Tequila. As Turtle tries to explain how hard he will work for this business venture, Lavin comes in and tells E that he just got off the phone with Randall Wallace. Apparently, Wallace was not happy that Vince brought Sasha to the meeting, and thought Vince was drunk because he could smell the tequila on him. E calls Vince (who promises he was sober) and tells him that they like him for the movie but are concerned about the way he acted.

At TMA, Ari meets with Aaron Sorkin, who is considering leaving Ari for Lizzie. Ari tells Sorkin about how Lizzie was the cause of the end of Andrew Klein’s career, but he doesn’t seem to care. As Sorkin is leaving, Jessica Simpson arrives at the office to tell Ari that she can’t stop thinking about the dog. Ari introduces her to Sorkin, and Ari convinces them to have a meeting to discuss working together, getting them both to commit to staying at TMA for the time being.

Drama makes his way to Phil Yagoda’s office, but he isn’t there. E arrives to make sure Drama doesn’t do anything stupid, and tells him that Phil’s been battling with the network all day because they’re the ones that want Saget to be in the show.

Ari, after his successful day at work and not so successful morning with his wife, sets up candles and rose pedals to seduce her into bed, but his phone rings and interrupts them. His wife picks it up, and when he hears that it’s Amanda Daniels he decides to take the call. Amanda tells Ari that she has hired Lizzie, and that she had actually offered a job to Lizzie six months earlier. However, when she turned it down, Amanda told her to keep a journal of everything that happened at TMA, just in case she changed her mind, and that Amanda is going to use that journal to help Lizzie make life miserable for Ari.

After Turtle has told Vince that they probably won’t be getting any more cases of the tequila, Vince calls E to tell him that he got Turtle to explain the business opportunity with Avion, and that he has agreed to help him out.

I thought “Bottoms Up” was a great follow-up to last week’s episode, and has continued to improve the season after the first three mediocre episodes. Vince’s relationship with Sasha Grey could either have a positive impact on Vince or a negative one (although it looks like the latter is in the lead after his meeting with Wallace and Stan Lee), but I’m not sure how serious Vince is going to want to be with a porn star. I’m glad to see that Vince is going to help Turtle with promoting Avion, as I think that could be an interesting subplot (and lead to more time with Alex). And poor Drama, just when things seem to be working for him Bob Saget comes in and steals his thunder. I don’t know if his hopes for that show are over but it certainly doesn’t look good, and he may have to start his search all over again. Again, another solid episode and hopefully they can keep it up next week.
