After two rock'em-sock'em epsiodes this week's installment turned down the volume. We got more drama than action where Annie has to follow a cheating Senator who might be leaking information.

Things start out with Annie trying to get the name of Auggie's latest hookup, but Auggie, grinning ear to ear, is mum on the subject.

Joan updates the division that Military drones are heading out on missions but they're targets seem to know they're coming. Someone is tipping the bad guys off and the only possible leaks are from the Senators on the Intelligence Committee. Annie, because she's new and a nobody will blend in on Capitol Hill easily.

The mission is to follow up on Senator Jarvis and make sure he's not leaking any information. Using her usual cover as a Smithsonian employee, she finds out that the Senator is having an affair with his chief of staff, Ashley Briggs, and that it's not the senator's first affair.

Meanwhile back at the DPD, Auggie is busy handling logistics for his old special forces unit. The operation is called Goliath and he has to safely plan out the unit's mission. He feels the frustration of being stuck behind a desk, not helping his team the way he used to. Annie gives him a pep talk and lets him know that his unit is depending on him to be at his best.

Annie finds a memo on a flash drive that points to the Senator's wife as the leak. It seems that she knows about her husband's affair with Ashley Briggs (his other affairs too) and wants to frame Ashley for the leaks and sink the senator's career as well. Hell hath no fury...

With the leak found out, Annie goes to tell Ashley Briggs what's going on and ends up fighting off a syringe-wielding goon trying to kill her. Annie kicks the guy in the knee and knocks him out; she's definitely getting better at hand-to-hand combat.

The senator says that Operation Goliath, the one Auggie's old unit is on, was one of the missions compromised by his wife. Auggie has to think fast how to warn his guys who are most likely walking into a trap. The operation has already started and there's no way to get in contact with the team, so Auggie says crash the drone into one of the buildings and that should warn the unit, or kill them. They take the risk and we see the drone turn into a fireball. it works; the unit radios in a few minutes later saying they aborted the mission and are heading back to base. Everyone congratulates Auggie for his fast thinking.

Annie has to deal with a cheater on the job and at home. Annie caught Danielle's husband Michael walking out of a hotel when he was supposed to be at work. She confronts him and he admits he's been lying to Danielle, but he is not cheating. He lost his job a while ago and that hotel he was walking out of was actually a job fair. He later tells Danielle the truth.

The Senator also tells the truth in a press conference where he resigns from office effective immediately. His wife actually got what she wanted.

The Rundown:

-One of the more drab episodes, but it had its moments of humour, like when the guys from Auggie's old unit used his itunes account to buy $60 worth of country music; and Annie faking a Booty Text (ie Booty Call) while talking to Ashley but we got no Ben and little action.

-I gotta say although everybody wants the Auggie/Annie ship to sail, I think he's too busy playing the field. Jai, on the other hand, has been pretty focused on one thing, one person :)
