Big Brother 12 - S.12 Ep.7 - Eviction - New HoH Competition - SPOILERS!!

Hey everyone, welcome back to Big Brother 12.  I still can't believe this show has been on for over 10 years, that is crazy to think.  I want to take this opportunity to tell you to come check out my Hit Internet Radio Show "The Animal House" - Monday Nights 8pm ET 5pm PT - http://www.animalhouse100.com/ - Come say hi and let me know you've read my blogs.

FIREWORKS - FINALLY!

Up to this point of the game, it seems as though the house was too nice, too relaxed and quite boring, if I'm being honest.  Besides a couple showmances in motion and some behind the back insults, there have been no blowouts in the house, now going on 3 weeks.  But it finally happened and I'll get into that in a minute.  The night started out showing the Matt going to Britney and Monet and acting like he's upset that Rachel put him up on the block.  Cut to his DR session and he's perfectly fine about it, suggested it and earned the entire houses' trust.  Matt has to be feeling pretty good about himself because everyone thinks he's on their side and he's doing a great job of exploiting that.  He really IS a genius!  UH OH, here's the problem that he probably didn't consider..  The deal he made was with the most paranoid person in the house, Rachel.  Seriously, everytime a "big" decision needs to be made, she is going to freak out and somehow turn that into someone stealing "her man"!  WATCH OUT Brendon, she's a nut job!

The other showmance of the house between Hayden and Kristen is the worst kept secret, ever.  Almost the entire time that Hayden should have been making out with Kristen, he was so busy saying "No one can know".  Sadly for them, Andrew, who was "sleeping" heard all of it and knows they are pretty much in a showmance.  It was rather amusing, "It was listening to a dirty movie" - Andrew

Kristen was told that rumors are flying around about how she's going against Monet so Kristen goes straight to the source and asks her about it.  Monet denies(as she should) the allegations and it sets off a bit of drama amongst the ladies, including Britney.  Britney then goes up to the HoH room to clear the air with Rachel.  At this point, Rachel is trying to gain Britney as an ally and reveals to her that Matt not only knew he was going up on the block but suggested he go up to force Monet to go home.  This sets Britney off and Rachel decides it's time for a house meeting.  OH, I LOVE THESE!!  Rachel walks around and asks for everyone to gather around in the living room.  Once they are all there, Rachel shoots straight at Matt saying how he's playing everyone in the house and let everyone in on his own suggestion to go up against Monet.  Monet was very shocked at this revelation and she walks away upset and guess?!  CRYING!  Matt tries to deflect this truth coming out and saying he was strong-armed into it by Rachel and Brendon.  I dont think that Enzo, Hayden and Lane really cared because they already knew.  Ragan was very shocked about it and ALMOST swayed him to vote out one of his closest friends in the house.

After the meeting was over, things seemed to calm down quite a bit and back to the live eviction.  I predicted that the house would vote 8-1 for Monet to be evicted.  Much to my surprise, it was 7-2 as Britney, we knew voted for Matt but in a little shocker, Kathy also voted for Matt.  This could turn out to be a huge thing, moving forward and why would she do that?  Julie tries her best to make Monet think she's safe by announcing Matt's name first but then says, "you're safe" and Monet is offiically evicted from the BB House!  Outside, Julie meets with Monet to discuss some game decisions and of course, Monet starts to cry and AGAIN, in the good-bye messages, Rachel bases her message as a way to "Stay away from my man!"  WOW, RUN BRENDON!!! RUN!!

The new HoH competition is about to begin and we see everyone standing on surfboards coming out of a wall.  As the competition begins, we notice the boards moving in and out of the wall, leaving only a little piece of it sticking out for the HG's to stand on.  To make matters worse, water begins pouring down on their heads and the wind picks up blasting them in the face.  My early favorite for this competition would have to be Hayden, considering he was a surfer.  My gut tells me that Hayden doesn't want to be HoH again because that would put an even bigger target on him and he wants to lay low for a while.  So, the endurance competition is on and that's all for this live edition of Big Brother 12.  Find out Sunday night who is the new HoH AND the Have-Nots for the week AND the new nominees!

Until Next Time,

Matt and Ragan were the final 2 on the boards and worked out a deal that would ensure both of their safety for the week and try to broker a couple deals that would make them both safe the following week too.  Matt said that he will put up Kathy and Andrew as a pawn with Kathy being his target.  I TOLD YOU that going against the house and voting for Matt would be a bad idea.  DUMB!  Will he live up to his word?

Officially, Matt lived up to his word and put up Kathy and Andrew for nomination this week.  There is some talk about back-dooring someone, most likely, Brendon but we'll see.
