Hey everyone, welcome back to another edition of Big Brother 12, last night, we watched the house compete in their first PoV(Power of Veto) competition. The nominees, Brendon and Rachel plus the HoH, Hayden and the HG's picked at random draw, Andrew, Enzo and Monet, all competed in a spelling contest with the winner having spelled the longest word. They had to pluck pinatas and beat them silly while mayonaise went flying out of them with each blast. The remaining HG's had to sit close by and got splashed with the mayo upon impact. The competition went fast and furious for 10 minutes and in the end, Hayden had "Possible" Enzo had "Factory" Rachel had "Chemistry" Monet spelled "Cheaters", Andrew had "Pasteurized," but mispelled it and Brendon had "Understanding" with 13 letters won the first PoV.
Earlier in the episode, we saw a couple conversations between Brendon and Hayden with Brendon offering Hayden protection next week, so long as Hayden protects Brendon, this week. The 2nd meeting, Hayden made a HUGE mistake(my feeling) in saying he would leave the nominations the same if he wins the PoV. It put Brendon in the mindset that if he is saved and becomes HoH next week, his target will be Hayden. Now knowing that Brendon DID win the PoV, Hayden will be sweating bullets all the way through Thursday night's HoH Competition.
The Saboteur struck again in last night's episode and reveals to the HG's that while everyone thinks they are all strangers, in fact, there are two people who are lifelong friends playing the game. This put another level of uneasiness in the house as there could be a secret alliance that no one knows about. There were lots of ideas floating around as who it could be. Personally, I'm going to guess it's Lane and Kristen. They are both 24 years old and in the house, they seem to stay away from each other the most. If it were my strategy, I'd probably stay as far away from my secret alliance partner too. That means, not only does the house have a Saboteur that will be revealed to us on tonight's episode but two HG's are playing the game with each other, secretly.
Finally, we saw more of the blossoming romance between Brendon and Rachel and the other HG's saw quite well themselves. Do they not realize that hiding their faces under a blanket is instantly suspicious and common knowledge it's the teenagers guide to secretly making out? Brendon did in fact use the PoV to safe himself and Hayden nominated Annie to take his place, which puts into place that it's Annie vs Rachel, one of them will go home, the other will be safe.
