Day 7: And so we begin the polls for the final section of the first round, and boy have we had some shockers so far. Yesterday's poll 'The West Wing vs. LOST' broke the record for the number of votes, and totally eclipsed all the other three polls. The West Wing may have lost and be out, but it scored more than the total of each of the other polls. For a while, it had a 14% lead and over 200 votes, but as America woke up, the lead disintegrated. It's a shame for such a good show, I have seen the first season and thoroughly enjoyed it, and I wish it could have got further but like 'The Sopranos' and 'Friends' amongst others, we say goodbye for now. Through is therefore 'LOST' with a huge 2000+ votes, as well as 'Doctor Who', 'The OC' and in a very close battle that tossed an turned all day, comedy beat mystery as 'Seinfeld' eliminated 'Twin Peaks.'

Today here we have the very popular funeral home drama 'Six Feet Under' taking on Police Procedural NCIS and the forever beloved 70's hit 'MASH' taking on the short-lived HBO 'Carnivale.' NCIS

Format: Police Procedural/Drama
Synopsis: An American police procedural drama television series revolving around a fictional team of special agents from the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, which conducts criminal investigations involving the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps.
Fan Review: Alyssa
NCIS is a fabulous work of CBS. Its quirky comebacks and comedic relief makes it an unforgettable piece of work, and the cliff-hangers of the season's ends make everyone come back to watch more. The characters are a dysfunctional family, facing troubles every day, but the audience is always cheering for the favorite couples on the show. We get just enough of that bonding to partially settle us, but not enough to be thoroughly satisfied. NCIS is a classic, bringing procedural dramas to a whole new level, leaving the fans with an everlasting impression.

MASH vs. Carnivale
MASH

Seasons: 11 (Finished)
Format: Medical drama/Dramedy/Situation comedy/Black comedy/Satire/Military
Synopsis: MASH follows a team of doctors and support staff stationed at the 4077th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital in Uijeongbu, South Korea, during the Korean War.
