Based on the best-selling books by Kathy Reichs Bones delves deep into the complex world of forensic anthropology and the life of its most prolific expert, the highly skilled yet socially inept Dr Temperance Brennan (Deschanel; Spiderman 2, Cold Mountain). Often called upon by the FBI for her uncanny ability to read clues left behind in victims bones, Brennan finds herself paired with an unlikely ally; former army sniper Seeley Booth (Boreanaz; Buffy, Angel). Regularly clashing both personally and professionally the duos dramatically different skills and personalities make them a formidable crime-fighting team.

Season 4 premiere finds anthropologist "Bones" Brennan and FBI Agent Booth in London where they are asked by local officials to lend their expertise to a high-profile murder investigation. In the upcoming season Brennan and Booth will also deal with changes among the "squints" as well as in their own relationship, and a revolving group of graduate students who pitch in to help solve murders with the hope of being offered a more permanent position on the team.
