After several arresting turns on drama series including "The Shield" and "ER," CCH Pounder is showing off her lighter side with a co-starring role on Fox's comedy pilot "Brothers."
Additionally, Elizabeth Regen has joined Lifetime's untitled Sherri Shepherd comedy pilot and Elizabeth Ho has come on board NBC's comedy pilot "100 Questions for Charlotte Payne."
Sony/Tantamount's "Brothers" centers on the relationship between a retired NFL player (Michael Strahan) and his wheelchair-bound brother (Darryl Mitchell).
Pounder is in negotiations to play their mother. She next appears on Sci Fi Channel's new series "Warehouse 13" as a recurring and in "Avatar."
The Lifetime project centers on Sherri (Shepherd), who works at a law firm and contends with her husband's infidelity. Regen, repped by Domain and Framework, will play the new girl at the office. She replaces Melissa Rauch.
UMS' "Payne" centers on Charlotte (Sohie Winkleman) who navigates her life and friends. Ho, repped by Stone Manners and Cirrincione and Associates, will play one of her best friends who is also her business partner.
