Actor to star opposite Romano, Braugher
Scott Bakula is set to star alongside Ray Romano and Andre Braugher in the TNT drama pilot "Men of a Certain Age."
Meanwhile, Scott Winant ("Californication") is aboard to direct the pilot.
Bakula has been tapped to play Terry Elliott, a struggling actor dating a much younger woman. "Men" revolves around three college pals now in their 40s who are grappling with middle age.
Romano and Mike Royce wrote "Men of a Certain Age" and are exec producers with Rory Rosegarten and Cary Hoffman.
Bakula most recently shot a starring role in Steven Soderbergh feature "The Informant" alongside Matt Damon. He also had a recurring role in "The New Adventures of Old Christine" and starred in the legit production "Dancing in the Dark."
