Shawn believes someone is trying to kill a daredevil stunt performer named Dutch and tries to convince the guard and then Dutch's son to let he and Gus in to see him. After talking their way in, they work with Dutch as "helpers" and try to figure out behind the scenes who wants him dead and why. Lassiter is going through a rough patch and jumping to conclusions, nearly hurting a witness he is interrogating, believing the man is the perpetrator.
