Rose returns when Donna goes back in time and causes the Doctor to die!
Rose Tyler makes a dramatic return to Doctor Who. She teams up with new assistant Donna to save the Time Lord's life - and prevent the universe from being destroyed!
Billie Piper quit the role of the Doctor's sidekick after series two. But now Rose is back - and the actress is delighted.
"I wouldn't have missed this for anything," grins Billie.
In the 11th episode of the 13-part series, Donna visits a fortune teller on the Chino-planet of Shan-Shen. She has a flashback where she arrives at a crossroads and turns left to start a secretarial job.
The evil clairvoyant uses her power to force Donna to go back in time and turn right instead, so she never meets the Doctor in the future.
However, this triggers a catastrophic series of events, as various adventures from the Doctor's past are replayed with a different outcome.
London is blown up when the Titanic falls from the skies - and the Time Lord dies beneath the Thames!
Rose reappears and tells Donna she can stop all this by going back in time and turning left once more. Can they save the Doctor?
Billie hints that she could be tempted back to the show again.
"It remains to be seen," says Billie, 25. "But I can't let the Doctor go!"
