Cybill Shepherd has signed on for a multiepisode arc in USA Network's "Psych."
She will play Madeleine, a psychologist and free spirit who is the mom to Shawn (James Roday) and ex-wife to Henry (Corbin Bensen), in at least two episodes. When Madeleine returns from Europe and shows up to visit Shawn and Henry, she stirs up memories and issues -- and a bit of trouble.
"Psych," from Universal Media Studios and Tagline Pictures, returns with new episodes July 18.
Shepherd most recently recurred in Showtime's "The L Word." She is repped by Fortitude.
