Ugly Betty producers have confirmed that Victoria Beckham will be appearing on the show.
The Spice Girl, who recently moved to the US with husband David and her three children, has signed up for a cameo in a special wedding-themed episode.
"There's a wedding dress involved," executive producer Marco Pennette explained. "There's a wedding involved with her storyline."
He then joked: "But we want her husband David on set. It's one of the requirements."
Becki Newton, who plays receptionist Amanda on the ABC comedy, has revealed that her character will not get along with Posh.
She explained: "Amanda is going to be like: 'I'm not standing next to Posh because she's too skinny. She's gonna make me look fat.' Amanda's gonna take her down."
Show star Eric Mabius revealed that producers hoped to recruit Victoria in June. Posh later confirmed that she was considering the offer.
