Performers Of The Month - September Polls *RESULTS*

RESULTS:

The actor category was an easy win for Outlander’s Sam Heughan who ran away with the votes. He dominated right out of the gate and it was never a close race despite having some immensely talented competition. To anyone who has seen his amazing work as Jamie Fraser it should surprise no one that he so easily won the competition. His natural talent is showcased in every episode as he takes Jamie through one tough situation after another, especially this season. He has this amazing ability to show vulnerability and strength in the same moment. He’s both a gifted performer and an amazing man who cares about the well-being of others. He’s truly deserving of the title of the Most Outstanding Actor of September.

The actress category was a very tight race all the way to the end. Outlander’s Caitriona Balfe won over Fear The Walking Dead’s Alycia Debnam-Carey by only the smallest margin. They are each immensely talented actresses and they battled it out throughout the week with each actress repeatedly taking the lead from the other. In the end, Caitriona Balfe pulled ahead by just enough to secure the win. She’s a powerhouse actress who has taken the iconic character of Claire Randall Fraser and made her even more than fans could have hoped for. She brings amazing depth and heart to every scene she is in. There is no question that she is extremely deserving of the title of the Most Outstanding Actress of September.

Winner articles for both Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe will be made available on SpoilerTV prior to the end of the month. Watch my twitter account for hints of when the articles are coming. Until then, feel free to use the comments of this post to chat about the amazing work all the nominated performers did in September.

ORIGINAL POST:

IMPORTANT NOTE: For the first time in POTM history a performer was nominated for an episode that aired in the wrong month and it slipped past me. Alycia Debnam-Carey was nominated for episode 3x13 of Fear The Walking Dead that aired on October 1st. Since voting has already begun her eligibility for this round will remain, but if she wins for September her article will only pertain to performances from September episodes.

There was an incredible turnout this month for nominations. One show, in particular, had an incredible show of support. This should be a fun round of voting to see which performs will prevail.

Also, please take note that the voting results will not be visible while the polls are active. The results will be revealed after the polls close.

Now comes the hard part where you can only vote for 1 actor and 1 actress to be crowned as the Performers Of The Month for September. The polls will be open until 6 pm ET on October 14th.

About The SpoilerTV Daily Newsreel

Every day 100's of items are submitted to us and we don't always have the time to make separate posts for the news and/or there is so much that it would quickly push all other items off the homepage.

So a result we've come up with the idea of the Newsreel, which will feature smaller shows and news items as they happen.

There will be a new Newsreel each day, and as news is added we will update the post and and push it back to the top of the site so that you can see that new items have been added. A tweet of the item will also be sent to our @SpoilerTV account.

New Items will be listed at the top of the article.

This will allow us to provide more news on more shows in a much more timely fashion
About Movie News Roundup

Rather that creating lots of new posts as new info is released and fragmenting the commentary, we thought it would be a good idea for the upcoming major movies to create a single post for each major movies that will collate all the info as it's posted.

New items will be added to the top of the list as well as the post being re-posted back to the top of the homepage when a new item is added. We will additionally send out a fresh tweet alerting you of the new information.

This will allow you to bookmark this page so that you can return to it whenever you like. It will also help consolidate all the discussion on this movie in a central place and make it less likely that you'll miss some key information.
