Update: 20th April Thanks to Justin for the heads up and to luckygirl for the video on this 2nd Promo. It we find a better version we'll update.

  1. Well, this is more a promo for AoU than next week's but I need this one in my life. And hey, there Ward and Kara! I missed him the first time I saw because it flashed too fast. I can't wait for the dirty half dozen road trip.

    ReplyDelete
  2. Uh, I get the whole tie-in stuff ("it's all connected" blah, blah, blah) but can we get a do-over on this promo? Make it a proper SHIELD promo this time.

    ReplyDelete
  3. YEAH! They are beginning to explain the timeline with Ultron and AOS. CAN hardly wait!!

    ReplyDelete
  4. Agreed. ABC should have showed like 20 seconds of next week's footage and then all the "The biggest movie event of the year!" stuff with AOU in the last 10 seconds. I think that would have made the promo better IMO.

    ReplyDelete
  5. I am so glad that I went on record that COULSON is the best one to lead Shield. There are things happening and just because he is not sharing with Melinda or team players he is sharing them with others(AKA FURY and who knows who else Maria HILL?) people who are cleared for CLASSIFIED INFORMATION as it pertains to the end of the WORLD AKA UTLRON! I am just speculating, but I AM 100% Team Coulson. AND DID anyone see him on Jimmy Kimmy Last night? Predictions as to who is gonna show up on the Season Finale? I am thinking maybe Cap and he will bring signed collector cards personally to Coulson? Definitely thinking him and Fury and maybe RDJ? Thoughts anyone?

    ReplyDelete
  6. At least they were generous with promo pictures. :)

    ReplyDelete
  7. I'm guessing Skye is the mission.

    ReplyDelete
  8. That's true :)

    ReplyDelete
  9. Yay, can't wait to see the AOU tie-in! And of course the rest of the episode with the big Coulson/Grant team up ;)

    ReplyDelete
  10. Ward with the the grp was more then enough.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Is Skye in the trunk because I can see someone breathing

    ReplyDelete
  12. WARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  13. So like... nothing about the actual episode next week? Booooooo!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  14. It looks like Gordon's coat tbh. But I dunno

    ReplyDelete
  15. If it's Gordon makes sense Skye and Lincoln getting involved.

    ReplyDelete
  16. This is why they release the promo pics early but they could have at least made a longer promo with actually footage of the episode like they normally do.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Yeh, it looked like the cream coat he wore when he got Raina. + as you said it makes sense Lincoln and Skye getting involved. Not to mention Coulson was talking to hunter about it too. But that being said if it Gordon couldn't he just teleport away...?

    ReplyDelete
  18. Oh you have high hopes! Any Avenger or even Fury would be amazing to see but I have the feeling we won't have any awesome guest stars anymore this Season :/

    ReplyDelete
  19. Is Age of Ultron set between episodes 18 and 19, then?

    ReplyDelete
  20. For international markets it is which is why i thought it was odd they would tie in between those episode because the show is in abc america. They should tie in when the movie premieres in the US and that's between 19 and 20.

    ReplyDelete
  21. My theory is that the show will start to Tie in heavily around episode 18 and continue on for the rest of the season. Episode 18 and 19 will most likely be a direct prologue. I think episode 20 will coincide with the first act of the movie and episodes 21 and 22 will run directly along the second and third act and maybe provide an epilogue. I like to think of this as Rosencrans and Guildenstern are Agents of shield. We're going to be seeing the same events from another perspective.

    ReplyDelete
  22. There was like 5 seconds of new scenes from Agents of Shield and they call it a promo?!

    ReplyDelete
  23. Thinking more about it doesn't make that much sense being Gordon because how the hell they would track and get him? not only he is almost impossible to find but with his abilities makes it very hard to catch him when he can disappear whenever he wants. They could keep him sedated but they still have to find him and i don't think they would. So since they are teasing the tie in with AOU could it be Dr. List? Now the question is how Skye and Lincoln get involved? couple of possibilities, they could get involved with them if Hydra/ Dr. List got hold of one of the inhumans they had on the afterlife or maybe Skye is just going after Coulson/Shield because they start interfering like Jiaying told the story about how May/Shield got involved in Barhrain and didn't end well.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I mean if Jiaying is in charge, she can authorize the contact for Skye to talk to SHIELD? Gordon said he had to "ask them"?

    ReplyDelete
  25. I guess she can. Not sure she is the only one in charge or at least she can't decide anything by herself and needs to consult with other elders. this is why Gordon use "them" but it seems like they don't want Skye to contact them afraid SHIELD would come knock on their door. Coulson would ask questions. Skye transformation already put them in danger so the less outside people know the better.

    ReplyDelete
  26. RememberSekhmet15 April 2015 at 19:09

They show what they can show without spoiling major plot points of the episode, and/or AOU.

    ReplyDelete
  27. This cross-promotion with Ultron better pay off in the ratings next week to justify a promo that consists of Ultron scenes, AoS scenes we've already seen, and ONE blink-and-you'll-miss it shot of a new AoS scene.

    ReplyDelete
  28. and Skye would leave, i hope

    ReplyDelete
  29. Yeah the episode must be really good and full of surprises if Marvel decided to release a promo like that. For example for the past couple of episodes Marvel barely released any photos or information on them and they actually ended up being fantastic. So even though its sorta irritating, less information seems like a good sign.

    ReplyDelete
  30. A few more seconds of Ward in the second promo and I go nuts. Gr8, thx writers for messing with my mind by letting Ward just be in one ep since the hiatus.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I don't like that deal one bit Son of Coul.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Grant Ward to the rescue! AWESOMSAUCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Grant has the leverage and he doesn't even know it. Seriously let me laugh Coulson I love but its ridiculous "Help me and I'll let you walk away" like this is going to happen.

    ReplyDelete
  34. As much as I like Coulson, I'm nor going to complain if Fitz's reaction to this deal is to grab the nearest heavy object and throw it in the general direction of Coulson's head.

    ReplyDelete
  35. A firly understandable response, I wonder how Lincoln and Skye are drawn into it? Not too mention I hope that that's a Hydra agent he just killed.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Yeah, pretty much the same for me. Though at least they made up for being late in putting it up on Friday.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Not relly, he's now about to have 2 Shield's looking for him, and I'm betting Real Shield won't give him an option.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Yeah like"join us or die" OMG that sounds like Hydra

    ReplyDelete
  39. It looks like he's helping to save Coulson from someone.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Don't worry - Brett said he's a big part of the last few episodes and he seems really excited about it (as am I).

    ReplyDelete
  41. Given Ward's history it's no surprise, or anything more than he deserves

    ReplyDelete
  42. I'm guessing it depends on why/if other SHIELD is attacking.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I have some trouble to take a position with that.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I'm more inclined to believe it's "join us or go back to prison". Coulson doesn't kill if he has an alternative.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I want to see Lincoln in action, throwing lightning bolts at people and shit.

(If it's not a Hydra agent or someone else who was posing a threat, it's getting a bit difficult to keep a tally of Ward's unnecessary kills, isn't it? Maybe we need to draw a chart.)

    ReplyDelete
  46. "And I let you walk away!" ... yeah right... between Real SHIELD and SHIELD and Hydra and the Inhumans and their general lack of loyal people Ward has nothing to be afraid of! Unless he goes on a public killing spree, everybody has bigger fish to fry...

    ReplyDelete
  47. Does Lincoln's power work like that? I suppose we haven't seen enough to tell, but I was under the impression it wasn't as far ranging...

As for Ward, might I suggest a drinking game for the kills?

    ReplyDelete
  48. Not really, Coulson has made it clear that to him even if they are against him, they are still agents. So if Ward is killing Shield agents (instead of Icing them) then he's still jut killing people.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Yeah, it's unclear if he can really use the power that offensively. It would be cool if he could, and it's definitely doable on a TV budget. Heroes had several characters with that power.

And a drinking game is great idea - hey, maybe that's why Ward is absent from so many episodes! The showrunners realized we might be playing, and more than one Ward episode at a time means too many corpses for our poor livers to handle all the shots.

    ReplyDelete
  50. RememberSekhmet20 April 2015 at 14:28

I fully expect the following line from Ward to be something like, "I'm already 'walked away.' You only found me because I was okay with being found by you for now, because I knew you'd need me again. Give me something better than that...."

    ReplyDelete
  51. RememberSekhmet20 April 2015 at 14:30

Ward kept telling Skye that he knew how to find Cal. Coulson figures wherever Cal is right now, Skye is also there.

    ReplyDelete
  52. He's killing people either way.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Real Shield has an aircraft carrier, whih means Gonzales has up to 5000 people working for him. Depending on how all the agents that Coulson had set up around the world handle the new managment situation they could have even more. The Inhumans so far are still in the hide from everyone stage, Shield's don't know how many of them there are. Hydra is down to 2 heads and about to get a visit from the A team.

Yeah Ward still has to realise that he's still hunted (for example Talbot wants a word or two).

    ReplyDelete
  54. RememberSekhmet20 April 2015 at 14:32

Ward would outwit Pointy SHIELD as well as he has outwitted Round SHIELD.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Ended up in prison until his brother interfered, end up getting shot 4 times by round Shield. Think you and I have a different view of outwitting.

    ReplyDelete
  56. So no different from the character he's been all along.

    ReplyDelete
  57. RememberSekhmet20 April 2015 at 14:35

Escaped prison transport and shot by an angry ex-girlfriend.

    ReplyDelete
  58. True, w really don't have enough to go on so far, wth the only two clarly shown is Jiaying's healing and Gordon's jumping.

See the showrunners we just looking out for the audience. Still wondering if he's going to the spin off with the filming he's doing.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Yeah, not a Shield transport though, and still ends up getting shot by a Shield agent, after getting the crap kicked out of him by another Shield agent. Still not seeing the "outwitting"

    ReplyDelete
  60. I know. I'm excited, too. But I'm also scared. Because the synopsis for the finale promises a lot of angst. And I don't think I can handle that much angst.
But I know whatever Ward's role will be, it will be huge.

    ReplyDelete
  61. LMAO and then Coulson says "Skye is missing"

    ReplyDelete
  62. RememberSekhmet20 April 2015 at 14:43

The episode is likely packed with "oh my DAMN" moments, and it's hard to pick out what will tease without spoiling.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I have a good feeling about this. He'll be working with the team to take down Hydra this time and the redemption arc is starting. It's going to be long and painful (and I need him to apologize to the team) but that's the point of redemption.

I've missed Ward so much during the episodes he was gone but it's going to be worth it in the end; I can feel it.

And yeah, the finale's going to hurt but I'm ready for that angst even though I'm dreading it.

(You've caught me post-multiple irrational bad spirals about Ward dying, tbh. But now I'm riding the positivity train all the way to the finale even in the midst of all the angst that's sure to come our way.)

    ReplyDelete
  64. It would be so good if Ward was leaving to the spin-off. That way, everyone would be happy: the Stand With Ward folks would have a show where he gets a lot more screentime, and we would be free of his crap on AoS. (Although there's always crossovers... sigh.)

    ReplyDelete
  65. The return of Ward! Yeah finally some interesting stuff :)

    ReplyDelete
  66. Somehow I have the feeling that Ward's answer will be more along the line of "yeah, not enough, I help you and you allow me back on your team" He is crazy enough to demand that.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Historical_Materialist20 April 2015 at 15:53

Thinking out loud here about Ward's possible scenarios.

    * Ward does something outrageous and heroic to redeem himself and is allowed back into SHIELD. I can't think of what that might be, but its always a possibility. Unlikely, but possible. This would be a reset button.
    * Ward does something to redeem himself somewhat in the eyes of SHIELD and is allowed to walk away with a warning to stay out of trouble.
    * Ward helps SHIELD but escapes before he can be apprehended again. They don't bother chasing him because he's not worth it. Their paths will cross again some time.

    ReplyDelete
  68. I missed him in S2B so much, but I know it's important for the story that he wasn't always present. I trust the writers that the painful withdrawal will be worth it in the end.

The second season will always stick in our memory as the season "we played the game #WhereIsWard/ #WaitingForWard".

I don't think that the writers will kill off Ward, they know how much we adore him. If I'm wrong I'm sure that would provoke a storm of anger.
I have to admit that I don't worry much about Ward ('cause he's a survivor; he'll always find a way out), I'm more worried about Skye (keyword "Civil War").

I wonder how Ward and Skye will behave around each other. It will probably be fraught with tension. That's what I fear the most.

There will be so much PAIN.

I think the last episode was the writer's way to prepare us for the upcoming episodes.
"Give us your pain" was probably the writer's mantra.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Is Skye trying to steal a car? During the time they were shooting this episode Chloe said that she and Luke/Lincoln were doing a lot of inhuman stuff so i expect to see more of their powers. The scenes where Skye uses her powers have been awesome and we still haven't seen much of Lincoln's powers yet. Now why they will get involved on this mess i have no idea.

    ReplyDelete
  70. LOL, we're pretty much in 'WE'RE GONNA DIE!" mode about the last few episodes of the season because the pain is going to kill us.

I'm dreading and excited about Skye and Ward's reunion. And yeah, I'm really worried about Skye too in the upcoming Civil War. I hope she'll be okay and won't be hunted down or anything.

    Can't wait for tomorrow!

    ReplyDelete
  71. Well, again I think Coulson has made his position clear, he considers the Shield agents, he wouldn't let Hunter or Mike kill them I doubt he's just going to cheer Ward on if he's doing the killing. He would want to use Icer's. Now if it's Hydra that's a different matter but we'll have to wait and see.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Yep, exactly, but I bet we'll want that pain back when the season is over and we struggle through the summer hiatus aka "4-5 months hell on earth" ;)
According to the synopsis of one of the upcoming episodes Skye will be torn between her "family" aka SHIELD and her family aka Inhumans.
I'm curious which position the others will take, especially Ward. We have an idea what Coulson, May, Simmons, Bobbi, Fitz and Co might think but not what Ward thinks about gifted people. He just mentioned what Hydra's plans were/are. But his position is unclear yet.
I wanna see his reaction when Skye uses her power in front of him for the first time, so much.

    Can't wait either!

    ReplyDelete
  73. "Gonzales has up to 5000 people working for him." ---> you don´t know that. That is a number based on your speculation. And even if he has a number as high as you said... he would use most of them to operate that aircraft carrier. He definitely does not have 5000 soldiers/spies... ect.

Coulsons people ---> I like to think that they are loyal. But of cause I don not know about that.

"The Inhumans so far are still in the hide from everyone stage," --> yes, they don´t know them by that name (Inhuman). But they do know that there are "special" people out there. I believe Gonzales calls them People with Power, or Freaks or, that Thing... And from the last episodes they seem to be their highest priority. I mean all they talk about is how afraid everybody should be of them. If I remember correctly, the biggest reason why Real SHIELD wants Coulson gone is because they think his brain is receiving Alien messages and that he is stockpiling Powered People.

Recording from what we have seen and heard from the Real SHIELD leaders, they think there biggest threat is Coulson, Coulson´s Magic Box, Skye and the Powered People... not one word about Ward! Ward is not a priority for them. And why should he be? For them he is just one of thousends of HYDRA traitors. Real SHIELD wasn´t betrayed by Ward, or lost friends because of Ward... it isn´t personal for them! So why should they go after him instead of all the other thousend HYDRA members who are still out there? Sure, Gonzale´s would kill him/take him in but for the forseeable future they have more important things to do.

And Talbot? Come on... please... He just strolled in their super secret military base and kidnaped a prisoner like it was nothing. Talbot and his men are nowhere near Ward´s league.

In my opinion the only "threat" against Ward is Coulson and his team... and they are down to ... what 4? 6? (Depending on May and Simmons). Who, by they why are more hunted than Ward, at the moment. You must agree, for someone like Ward (+Agend 33!!!) this aren´t bad odds.

    ReplyDelete
  74. I have a feeling Ward's not going to care that she has powers now - he'll love her regardless - but seeing it for the first time is going to be interesting.

And ugh, yes, not looking forward to the hiatus but at least we have Comic-Con to look forward to in July!

If Cal and Jiaying really loved Skye, tbh, they wouldn't try to force her to choose between SHIELD and the Inhumans. The Inhumans are shady and I'm not backing down from that claim.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Dreading this episode.

    ReplyDelete
  76. On the downside it will fue more anti Inhuman views I'd bet.

    ReplyDelete
  77. He HAS to have that many at least, that's a US CVN, so even at best it's more than 3K people (assuming something like the Ford) or closer to 5K for the Nimtiz class, you don't think Bobbi could take Ward? They aren't looking at Ward currently, in no way does that mean once he starts involving himself in this battle they won't look for him and kill him (and there's zero chance of them not killing him). Ward is a good fighter but he's not even close to the Bad ass you seem to think he is.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Kind of feel you, still feels like a blunt force "Here's Ward" from the writers.

    ReplyDelete
  79. True, but if we're talking about Gonzales and company, they seem myopic enough that it wouldn't change their minds if all the Inhumans they ever encountered only had the power to make flowers materialize out of thin air. Simmons, on the other hand... well, I definitely hope she comes around because I adore the Skimmons friendship.

    ReplyDelete
  80. RememberSekhmet20 April 2015 at 18:05

Ward may have turned some time in Season One, probably to protect Skye, once he realized who and what she was, but Ward only informed someone like Fury or Gonzales, who tasked Ward with taking down List and/or von Strucker. He has had to keep his cover with HYDRA on fleek to get close enough to his target, and that involved doing some awful things. I think he will be back on the team somewhat, but it will be uncomfortable.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Unfortunately I think you are ignoring how Coulson and May are going to react, as Director he's going to have to deal with a group of gifted of unknown numbers whose gifts are beyond most on the Index and whose intentions aren't clear either. They know Skye and comfort themselves with the knowledge of her as a person. The Inhumans not so much. I can't see the Inhumans acepting going on the Index, and I can see Skye getting pushed to give up information about them (whether she has it or not).

So while I don't see Coulson jumping to the "kill the gifted" of Gonzales, I can see him having as Director start thinking about how to confront this new "threat", particularly after the Twins go to town on both the Avengers and then Ultron.

    ReplyDelete
  82. RememberSekhmet20 April 2015 at 18:09

Yes, he is just short of Romanoff, and for many of the same reasons. A bunch of middle-class kids from happy homes who wanted to change the world by joining SHIELD are no match for an emotionally-deprived child soldier who has been trained in survival, marksmanship, and the like since he was fifteen years old.

    ReplyDelete
  83. RememberSekhmet20 April 2015 at 18:09

Coulson seems desperate enough to do it.

    ReplyDelete
  84. I think you are reaching for Fanfiction levels there. If they pulled that level of "writing" I think I would quit the show.

    ReplyDelete
  85. In espionage he's got the highest marks since Romanoff from memory of the first episode. That doesn't make him Romanoff in all other traits.

    ReplyDelete
  86. I don't see Coulson welcoming him back without losing Fitz, Jemma Skye and May. He not worth it.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Of course he loves her regardless what she is. He can't extinguish his love for her, even if he tries to fall out of love after she shot him. And I believe she loves him, too. Deep down inside of her. It's just buried under a lot of anger and rage. He tried to show her who he wants to be but it wasn't the right time for that. But I believe time will help with that (end of season 3,season 4...). Maybe shooting him made them kind of "equal", maybe some kind of standoff. I'm really looking forward to their interactions. It's going to be very interesting.
And I want to like Kara ('cause she went through some heavy stuff), but being a love interest for Ward is cheesy. I want them to be "best therapy buddies". ;) In my opinion Ward needs a best friend and not another love interest.

Yeah Comic-Con. I wish I could be there. But I'm gonna watch it on YT.

Yes, they are. But SHIELD is not not shady either (well,"real SHIELD" more than SHIELD). Skye will be a hell of a superhero. She'll quake them off their feet.

    ReplyDelete
  88. I hope it was written very carefully, as to show that A) from Coulson's perspective, he has absolutely no choice but to do this and B) he'd frankly rather be hung upside down above a pool of hungry sharks.

    ReplyDelete
  89. For real, it would be a preposterous cop-out to fanservice all the Stand With Ward / Skyeward fanatics. I'd hope the AoS writers are better than that.

    ReplyDelete
  90. And C) that's he's assuming that Ward WILL betray him and Shield at some point, D0 have a plan to manage the threat.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Exactly, just look at Fitz's reaction just mentioning it. Jemma was pretty blunt about where she stood...

    ReplyDelete
  92. Prety much, I'm fairly happy with what they've produced so far, so I really doubt they would do something like that.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Yes, absolutely. He'd be an idiot to not prepare for that eventuality. Ward's obsession with Skye might be a motivation for him to help Coulson, but it sure doesn't guarantee any long-lasting loyalty on his part. We've seen nothing to indicate that he won't stab Coulson in the back as soon as he no longer believes that this little stint will improve his chances of getting in Skye's pants.

    ReplyDelete
  94. True. I think it's hard to assess how Coulson will react to the Inhumans because we're missing the biggest piece of the puzzle: what is the Theta Protocol? Once we know that, we'll have a much better understanding of where he stands on the issue of gifteds. But either way, yeah, it's a pretty logical assumption that the stronger and more offensive a gifted's (or in this case, a whole group of them) powers are, the more wary SHIELD, even with Coulson in charge, is going to be.

    ReplyDelete
  95. And then there's the counterweight of the Inhumans actually being a functioning society outside of humanity, this isn't like random guy on the street getting powers, or even the twins. This is a group that has it's own government/rules/traditions the vast majority seems to be "stay hidden". Shield has never dealt with this type of situation and I'd bet it will freak people out, if/when they learn that the Inhumans are around then pretty much all their plan for dealing with gifted are going to change.

Now absolutely the Theta Protocol is hanging over things, if it is Power related forces, then it raises even more problems, cause I'd bet there's zero chances of the Inhumans agreeing to such a situation for their people. If it is something like a safe zone for gifted, I see even May having issues with gathering that many together (wish we knew what the protocols for gifted were pre TWS.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Let's hope writers don't screw this up. I knew Ward getting back was going to happen but let's hope they don't go full non sense redemption ark where everybody will suddenly forget everything he has done and welcome him with open arms because he might help with some missions. we know he will help Coulson find Skye and on next episode he will help both SHIELDs with Hydra stuff but this isn't enough to make him go back at full grace on the team. I can't imagine May and Simmons reaction to the news Coulson seek Ward's help.

    ReplyDelete
  97. I wish i was confindent as you. They have done a good job so far but i'm afraid on the next few episodse they will make sure Ward in paint in great ligh helping Coulson and the SHIELDS and he will suddenly be back full time.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Oh I'm concerned, don't get me wrong. If they do something like you are suggesting (and we both are dreading) then my interest in the show is going to take a massive hit. I'm just hopeful that so far they've handled most aspects of the show well. Please don't let them screw this up.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Do you think Coulson will use Skye card? could be a motivation to Ward help out but maybe coulson will keep Skye recently development/powers away from the story knowing full well what Ward obsession with her might cause. He could aproach Ward with other excuse like seeking out Hydra Dr.List if he think this is related to her disppearence and conveniently leaving Skye out of it. He is offering a peace offer for him so Ward might take it.

    ReplyDelete
  100. What should they do, cooperate with the HYDRA-traitors? They got some support form other bases like the academy but they also needed agents for their operations. I think they just had to extemporize like Coulson had to.

    ReplyDelete
  101. I think he'd rather be flayed and then hung upside down than willingly work with that murderous traitor but obviously that won's happen for reasons. I honestly don't see why Coulson needs to turn to Ward, I haven't seen his reasoning other than writers needing any reason to keep Ward relevant.

    ReplyDelete
  102. It is. There's no legitimate way to keep around.

    ReplyDelete
  103. I feel you but I'm not dreading it completely because at least I will see Fitz.

  104. Would love to go to Comic-Con. And yes, I need Ward and Kara to befriends who help each other heal from the abuse they both suffered.

Skyeward is 100% endgame and I am going to enjoy the slowburn.

  105. What about Fitz, the one who suffered the most and lived to tell the tale? They can't seriously expect these people to forgive and forget. I certainly can't.

    ReplyDelete
  106. I pray they are better than that.

  107. For the sake of argument, lets just say, he has 4000 people. How many of them are actually highly trained soldiers? And how many are workers, sailors, engineers, mechanics, cooks, medical staff...?

"They aren't looking at Ward currently, in no way does that mean once he starts involving himself in this battle they won't look for him and kill him..." ---> yes! Thank you! Exactly. If Ward is smart, he stays as far as possible away from Coulson. Coulson is nuclear at the moment. That is why I find Coulson's generous offer a little bit ridiculous. He and his team are hunted. Not Ward and Agent 33.

As for Ward and how big of a badass he is, well I am pretty sure I am not exaggerating his abilities. I mean it is very confident, that Coulson thinks he can take him but I am sure that he actually can´t. Remember season 1, episode 3 or 4 where Coulson had a problem to figure out his gun and he kept mumbling to himself "It is only muscle memory." or something like that?!

    Ward also:

    - Only got the highest marks. In espionage he comes close to Romanoff.

    - He is trained since he was very young. And Garrett made him the perfect weapon.

    - He is ruthless and does not care who gets hurt.

    - May beat him. Yes. But only because of that nail gun. Without it the fight might have ended differently. At least he and May are in the same league.

    - After Skye and Ward kissed he took 12 soldiers out by himself.

    - He escaped and avoided recapture.

    - Whitehhall said he is one of the best.

    - As for Bobby... he spotted her and managed to just walk away. She said he is good... very good. I don´t know who would win a actual fight. But the first round goes to Ward.

  108. You and I are of the same mind.

  109. Wow the Ward fanboism is fairly strong on this thread today.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Ward most likely already knows about her powers, remember the last episode when he was talking about "waking up the monster within her". And I'm guessing her waking up after the mists was felt all of San Juan. At best 33 would be able to tell him that something massive happened.

    ReplyDelete
  111. And he won't. If he did, he would lose those closest to him, who are risking everything to support him during this trying time, if he dared as so much as coddle the very same person that betrayed them all tried to kill some of them? Run now Ward's worth is his intel that Coulson thinks will help him save Skye, that doesn't even need saving beyond that, he's worthless to Coulson and his cause, which is getting SHIELD back. He would lose SHIELD completely and if he ever aligned himself, permanently, with a known Hydra agent and traitor.

  112. Ah but looking at some of the comments, he's aparently the male Black widow, that nobody else can take down. Stupid but...

  113. That remains to bee shown. There its still at least one helicarrier out there. The biggest mysteries is how they have hidden the carrier as the USN should be very interested in a fleet carrier and how they got fuel and maintenance. To be honest I don't think the writers really thought about such points.

    You mad, bro?

    ReplyDelete
  115. Not sure he knows. A lot of thing could be the cause of the destruction in San Juan i wouldn't jump to conclusion it was Skye and whatever monster he thought she had inside her. Ugh, that was one of his worst line on the show, so damn creepy. Then again, Ward had one episode since the mid season finale we don't know what he is up to or what he knows but i don't think he or Kara would know exactly what happened. Unless they had access to SHIELD index.

  116. He know's she has the potential to be gifted, I'd say since he talked to Raina in Season 1. He knows her parents were the "monsters" that killed the village, and that line. And I'm betting he's smart enough to have figured out why Cal wanted her there. He may not know that she's Quaking, but I'd bet he's smart enough to know she's now gifted.

    ReplyDelete
  117. I agree with you there completely, I just imagine the conversation "Which Carrier is stuck out in the Atlantic for X months Admiral? WHAT F**king Carrier!" I could maybe see the helicarrier (cause to me it's the same as Avengers 1, maybe the US took it intact from the Fall and Fury got it back when Skynet, I mean Ultron kicked off (if they have him hiding it though that's taking the P**s), a CVN without a Cloak yeah somebody will have noticed, not too mention building it in the first place.

  118. Agreed, just like I don't get the shippers saying that Skye will understand, I've said it before and I'll say it again, Skye would have to undergo a complete and Massive personality change to ignore everything that he's done, she wouldn't be the Skye that we currently know to do that.

There are more than a few ways to use Ward, but I think Coulson and Co made their positions felt when they gave him to his brother.

    ReplyDelete
  119. I really hope you're right. I'd be SO pissed if they tried to bring him back in.

    ReplyDelete
  120. I wish I could upvote this way more than once.

    ReplyDelete
  121. I think the Skye card is Coulson's best shot at getting Ward to help, so even though it'll make his skin crawl, he'll probably use it. The whole "I'll let you walk away" threat isn't strong enough on its own - Ward isn't Coulson's prisoner anymore and I don't see that Coulson has any leverage over him. So as creepy as it is, tapping into Ward's feelings for Skye is probably their best best.

  122. I wish I could be so optimistic like you. But on some days the glass is half-empty. And I only like the light version of slowburn. I like to keep my sanity. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  123. LOL, my optimism was brought down again by the second sneak peek so that's super fun. But I refuse to jump to conclusions based on one line when we haven't even seen the episode yet and I still can't wait for tomorrow.

    ReplyDelete
  124. Yep, mine, too. Before that I created some scenarios in my mind, but now my mood is down (I don't wanna make conclusions either, but I can't help myself...). Although it was really funny: "Hey baby" - "Hey sweetie". I died laughing. And Ward got himself a cactus - so adorable.

    ReplyDelete
  125. Yes! The "Hey sweetie" killed me too. And my timeline spiraled over the cactus for like half an hour so that was the best.

    Do you have a Twitter?

    ReplyDelete
  126. I bet the title of the AOS spinoff will be: "The adventures of Grant Ward and his buddy the cactus" LOL

    Yes I have.

    ReplyDelete
  127. LOL. HE LOVES THAT CACTUS. IT IS HIS SON (and no, someone suggested he offers it to Coulson as a peace offering to let him come and then we see it on his desk and I got emotional).

I'm also klutzy_girl on Twitter if you want to follow me there.

    ReplyDelete
  128. Based on this gifset of the sneak peek (it went too fast for me to see), Coulson has a real gun too so...

  129. Looking at the face gear isn't that Hydra style more than Shield? Looks like whatHunter pulled off after the whole fake death scene?

    ReplyDelete
  130. Yup, looks like Hydra (and thus, Ward saving Coulson since he was faster).
