Written and created by Emmy®-nominated Neil Cross and directed by Sam Miller (No Good Deed, Fortitude) the Luther special will also star Rose Leslie (Game of Thrones, Downton Abbey), Laura Haddock (Guardians of the Galaxy, The Inbetweeners Movie), Darren Boyd (Fortitude, Spy), John Heffernan (Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell, Ripper Street) and Patrick Malahide (Indian Summers, The Paradise), with Michael Smiley and Dermot Crowley returning as Benny Silver and DSU Martin Schenk respectively.

About The SpoilerTV Daily Newsreel

Every day 100's of items are submitted to us and we don't always have the time to make separate posts for the news and/or there is so much that it would quickly push all other items off the homepage.

So a result we've come up with the idea of the Newsreel, which will feature smaller shows and news items as they happen.

There will be a new Newsreel each day, and as news is added we will update the post and and push it back to the top of the site so that you can see that new items have been added. A tweet of the item will also be sent to our @SpoilerTV account.

New Items will be listed at the top of the article.

This will allow us to provide more news on more shows in a much more timely fashion

  1. I'm so stoked for the new season of Orphan Black.

  2. Benito Martinez looks great.

  3. Ugh. Devious Maids.. Why so late?

  4. Awesome @devious maids. I wonder if un-real will premiere with it?

  6. Looking forward to Tatau :)
Also hoping BBC America release a Trailer for Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell soon, really excited for that one.

  7. OMFG what is going in the Americans? ajsdfhjadh
That teaser for TATAU got my attention, what is it about?

  8. Here is the press release

  9. I can't see the video for Secrets and Lies. I can hear it but it is all black. It is just me?

  10. Play fine for me.

    Tried a CTRL-F5 to force a refresh?

  11. Still nothing and I have tried it on my phone as well. I can hear the 14 million watched thing though lol. it is odd. But I have been having some issues with this new player anyway. Quite often it stops playing after 2 seconds or so and I have to click on play again for it to go until the end. Maybe it's something strange on my end?

  12. Strange. Drop us an email and we can try some things.

  13. I'm looking forward to the return of From Dusk Till Dawn, the first season was really intriguing :)

I really enjoyed the first 2 episodes of Secrets & Lies and that promo looks amazing! If it is renewed I wonder if the cast will totally change or keep the same cast playing different characters like AHS, because the casting is a large part of why I love it.

  14. Kadee Strickland has been cast elsewhere I believe. I am not aware whether it is on first or second position though. But my guess is the cast would mostly change.

I really enjoyed the first episodes too and I agree that the cast is very good!

  15. I'm not opposed to a different cast , there are probably plenty of people that would be great. I'm probably getting too far ahead of myself talking about renewal anyway :P

  16. Why do i keep doing this?
I read CBC as wrong and got all anxious-AGAIN!

  17. So far, they've said that if there were a season two, they'd keep Juliette Lewis as a detective and she would have to solve another case about another family. But maybe the other family will have the same members but with different names which... would be weird because AHS is totally different -- it's set in another place and time and everything

  18. Yep, hoping tonight more people will tune in.

  19. Same here! I was shocked to see such a big thing buried on this post but I was so anxious about it!

  20. Dammit!! Same thing happened to me.

    *looks around sheepishly*

  21. I think the cast will change.

  22. Kadee was only contracted for one season, per deadline.

  23. I always read it at CBS first.

  24. There you have it then. Thanks Babar

  25. So it would be pretty much like The Killing then.

  26. can't wait for Tatau!!!!

  27. Want to watch this so bad.
Just because it was cancelled then resurrected then cancelled then resurrected... :D

  28. Don't make Dom and Doris fight. I guess it was bound to happen at some point but why do the stakes have to be so high?

  30. It's pretty good albeit very slow paced and I definitely think it is better for marathon. But the acting is top notch, possibly the most underrated acting on television in recent memory I feel. Season 3 was by far my favorite.

  31. I saw episodes S4 finale last week (SHO on demand), It didn't feel like a season finale, the end was worse than in seasons 1-3... I hope we get 5th season even if it would be the last

  32. I'm looking forward to Finding Carter and Devious Maids' return.

  33. Ian's Q & A session was surprisingly refreshing!

  34. Dunno what to think of this Ghostbusters universe idea... I think it's overkill...

Baby Daddy looks like it might be fun!

    Can't WAIT for Orphan Black!
