  1. Why does Emily always get the trashy dresses? She is really badly wasted material.
Will be interesting to see her rock Barry's world!

  2. Can't wait for this episode

  3. better than our promo...

  4. lol mac you would be happy to know that the Canadian promo did not have Felicity AT ALL. not even a mention of her :P

  5. I can't wait to see our little Felicity Smoak interacting with Team Flash! It's going to be amazing seeing her have some great female interaction. Finally! I am here for it. And she's in the same episode as Wentworth, dare I hope I can get one scene of them interacting?

    ReplyDelete
  6. Judging by promo pics I think there is decent chance that last thing happens.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Yeah I think Felicity will have at least some sort of interaction with Wentworth Miller's Captain Cold

    ReplyDelete
  8. to be fair not mentioning her wouldn't be wrong. Showing her to make her presence known is fair.

I would have preferred a "introducing the Flashs biggest villain: Captain Cold"

  9. take a look at the promo pics, I`m sure she`ll appear in most of the episode....

  10. "I wanna see it"
"By it I mean your speed"

LOL, what else could it be. right.

"Arrow's Emily Bett Rickards", an international star is born.

Canadian, Australian now New Zealand trailer.....I just want to see them all, every week. Its cute that they have the shows (Flash & Arrow) on the same day in NZ.

  11. lol no I think there are only Canadian, Australian and New Zealand trailers since they show Arrow episodes at around the same time that the US does. Other countries show it a lot later.

  12. I know it has nothing to do with anything... But, dude! That girl knows how to wear a dress! :O

One of the things i'm looking forward is to see Iris and Caitlin with Felicity getting along... While we always had male friendships on Arrow/Flash we never had the ladys bonding. We had a few Felicity/Sara's scenes; but one of the best got cut from the episode...

That's why i want Felicity and Laurel to get along and become friends... We need a female friendship.

  13. Felicity's dress.!♥

  14. I am excited for this episode. But I am not that fond of her date dress. But the pink dress in the beginning is so hot.

I can't wait to see her interacting with Team Flash. It's gonna be a bash :)

  15. they have the flash and arrow on the same night weird so their crossover event will be weird too, i hope caitlin's a little bit jealous

    ReplyDelete
  16. I also really want more female bonding on both Arrow and The Flash. We used to have Thea-Laurel at first and also Sara-Felicity, but now we should be grateful if they get to interact. I really want them to build a friendship between Felicity and Laurel.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Oh, dude, I was cheering you on until that last sentence. I'm sorry, this Felicity fan, can not have that. Like any relationship, friendships have to be earned. They have to consist of mutual respect. And I'll leave it at that. Felicity's female friends should not be exclusive to Oliver's exes just because the both have a vagina.

    ReplyDelete
  18. But Felicity already knows Caitlin & Cisco.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Why would Caitlin be jealous lmao?

    ReplyDelete
  20. in the first US promo they put out caitlin looked a little jealous of felicity and barry being so close

    ReplyDelete
  21. As of now I can't see Felicity and Laurel becoming friends. Laurel haven't spoken to felicity unless to get information. That phone call last episode showed the difference between Felicity/Laurel relationship and Felicity/Diggle relationship. At least Diggle asked where she was before asking for information where as Laurel simply asked her to do her a favor without even considering Felicity might be busy.

So for me to believe them to even resemble friends they need lot of bonding episodes and that would be weird because of situation with Oliver. I would rather see Thea/Laurel bonding and Roy/Felicity, Diggle/Felicity bonding.

  22. Yeah, that brown dress was a bit much. I miss the cardigans and the panda flats from season one.

    ReplyDelete
  23. No it was more that she was surprised that she works with The Arrow nothing to be jealous about there.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Well, i'm not saying they should be friends on episode 5, but maybe, with time, they could. Besides Laurel and Thea we don't have any other female character, and Laurel may will be full time in the Foundry next Season.

I just don't want any cat fight between them... That would be bad television, with more "teen drama".

    ReplyDelete
  25. They becoming friends eventually, would close the door to the "cat fight arc" theCW loves to put on all the shows.

I was excited when Felicity was like "gurl, i talked to you 3 times... i'm not gonna take time of me for you...", that's what any real person would have said. But on the long haul, it will be better if they befriend one another, given their history with Oliver.

Laurel already moved on from Oliver, that shouldn't be a problem. If you like the character of Laurel you can't like Lauliver 'cause it kills everything the character of Laurel stands for.

I really don't see Oliver being a problem. We need to stop implying that these characters can't live in a world outside of Oliver.

The thing here is that Laurel doesn't get Felicity's non-filter/non-crap way and Felicity doesn't know how to handle a "right to business" person like Laurel. They are just not familiar with each other(wich is ok, 'cause they had like 5 scenes together, if i'm not mistaken).

BUT I REALLY DON'T WANT ANOTHER LOVE TRIANGLE... ESPECIALLY ONE THAT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE.

    NO MORE Felicity please!!!

  27. Look what happened last season. The moment Sara and Laurel reconciled the very next episode Laurel ended up giving advice on Oliver/Sara relationship. Because according to Laurel she knows Oliver the most. I would have liked if Laurel would have snapped at Oliver saying don't hurt my baby sister. Instead what happened was cringe worthy.

If Laurel/Felicity becomes friends with girls night out, their own inside jokes etc. (that is what you mean by friendship right) at one point Felicity will be conflicted about relationship with Oliver and then Laurel will give advice. I'd rather Laurel stay far away from Oliver's love life. Let Laurel bond with Thea. Laurel and Felicity can have a respectful working relationship. There will be new female characters introduced in the show later on. I would rather Felicity be friends with one of them.

The "It" gag was ridiculously cheap and adolescent. I hope the producers re-think using that kind of sleazy humor in the future. They have a better show than that.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Sleazy? You must be joking. Unless your previous exposure to television mainly consisted of The Lawrence Welk Show and Leave it to Beaver, that bit doesn't even reside in the same zip code as sleazy.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I know what you're saying but those are two diferent cases... Sara is her sister. And she didn't quite give him relationship advices per se but an apreciation about the way he pulls people away, and that he shouldn't do that(again, Sara in on the middle, but after all she is her sister).

I don't know about "inside jokes", but i want the characters to reach a point in wich they could be friendly together. I seriously don't want this tension in the air when Oliver, Felicity and Laurel are together, alone, on the Foundry.

I don't want them to be used as a love trinagle mechanism... It's pointless. Laurel shouldn't give relationship advice about Oliver 'cause she knows crap about him and he is a total jackass when romance and Laurel are used on the same scenario.

I, myself, have a lot of diferent types of friends: the ones i trust and share what bothering me, the ones i have fun with, those i hang out and do crazy s**t with...

Sometimes i joke about a Donna/Rachel(Suits) friendship between them but i'm just being sarcastic. All i want is for them to be friendly, maybe some day Thea goes "Wanna hang out? Grab a drink?" and they're on a place in wich they can go out, have fun and that's it.

I see an Felicity/Iris friendship more suited for the "Trusting and sharing"... In real life you have "friends", friends and FRIENDS.

  31. I don't buy that loving Laurel means you can't love or support Oliver/Laurel, that's bull-ish. This is a show, it's fiction the fact that the man was a manwhore and caused the girl some serious hurt/pain doesn't mean she's over him. This isn't real life we don't write off male leads (especially when they are as hot as Oliver Queen) just because he cheated on her if that was the case half of the couples on primetime/daytime would be over. lol The fact is I am SURE Laurel isn't over him anymore than he is over her. They are the epitome of that "couple" that doesn't know how to let go of the other. In short they are the definition of "on/off" "together yet apart" and all of the other terms that means "the bond that will never die"
So as far as a friendship between the girls I say why not. But, this guy especially seeing how this is show is called Arrow will always be an issue because he's the LEAD and you can not NOT want the lead he is always going to be the object of desire and seeing how Katie C is the female lead I see her having a friendship with both Thea (probably more so) and Felicity.

  32. She did give relationship advise to Oliver that episode. She advised him on what not do with regards to his relationship with Sara. If that is not romance advise they I don't know what is? She even spoke to Sara about the same. That was really annoying and a disservice to the character. That's one of the main reasons I disliked Laurel last season.

Not having friendship between Laurel and Felicity does not mean there will be cat fight. That's what I meant by respectful working relationship. Something like what we see between Diggle and Roy. They are not close but team members, respect each other and have seperate lives. Roy is not close enough to visit Diggle when he has a baby. I am sure there never will be any tension in the foundry because of Oliver's relationship with either of the females. Unless they go the CW way put Oliver/Felicity together, then break them up and then immediately put Oliver/Laurel together. I don't think that will happen.

From the beginning of season 1 to episode 22 of season 2 Laurel has said several times I know you Oliver better than anyone. The character truly believes that and from what we have seen its in her nature to advise Oliver on things like this. And by making Felicity a romantic interest of Oliver they have kind of made it difficult for a deep friendship to happen,

I cannot foresee a bonding between Laurel and Felicity on a personal level at all. Now I am sure they are going to explore Thea and Laurel relationship (Laurel mentioned Thea's text in premiere) which I can believe in.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Believe i get what u say, but they can have a friendly relationship without being "advice buddies".

You're saying that they are either "working partners" or "BFFs". Well, there's something in the middle of that. Like i say, i don't see them drinking cosmos and chatting about Oliver, no freaking way. That doesn't mean they can't hang out in the future.

Also, about the relationship advice... I think it's a bit diferent 'cause it was Sara. She wanted her to be ok. I don't know if she would peek into Oliver/Felicity's relationship, since she is friends with Oliver now and didn't even mentioned Felicity. KC said on an interview that she will separate the two sides of Oliver, that she wouldn't mess with Olicity.

PS: Uhggg! That frase "i know u better than anyone"... i have a lot of problems with that. The guy cheated u with your sister and countless woman, he tought he had a child, came back a vigilante, mess with your sister again, lied to you every second... Yet, the character keeps thinking she "knows him"?

It's just one of those things the characters say that are there just to force a "moment" of intimacy that others can do with just a look. If one character needs to give some kind of advice to another but the actors can't sell that, you write that scene to let the viewer know this person has "personal knowledge" of the other. It's a very cheap trick... but when you have two people like SA and KC who have the chemistry of a duck and a stick of wood... Well, it would be worse without that line. It's painfull to watch how tense they are when touching each other or the awkward looks... They look robotic... not real; if you're trying to sell two persons who known since their teens.

  34. i guess it's my inner shipper hoping for it after tuesday's episode lol

  35. I wouldn't mind Laurel giving advice to Oliver on his love life in the future after their friendship gets deeper. After all they did know each other for so long. But for that to happen we need to see these two working together and supporting each other.

The thing that irks me about Laurel giving advise to Oliver about him and Sara is specifically because it is Sara. I had no problem with Oliver giving advise to Laurel in season 1 at the bar about her relationship with Tommy (Its another thing I lost respect for Oliver after he betrayed Tommy). Sara and Oliver betrayed Laurel in the worst way possible. Then after returning they get into a relationship without even considering Laurel's feelings. Then Laurel had to go and give them advice. URGh... It was very difficult for me to watch.

I get what you are trying to say and lets hope the writers can do something believable between Laurel and Felicity. For me I would take a good working relationship with these two. Just because two characters are females does not mean they need to be BFFs. Big YES to no cat fight or jealousy. Laurel already shown she is not willing to take platitudes and comfort from Oliver when she stepped away from him after getting beaten up. I don't foresee any jealousy cropping up.
