Boringly repetitive. Almost every storyline this season is a rehash of previous seasons. Thank god it ends next week.

  2. for me, another round of awesomeness... good to see that Chloe in action and that Audrey got a little more to do than looking angry/worried but this definitely landed her in a pickle... it did have a couple of blips in the writing: most notably for someone who was hell bent on getting out of the country, why did Cheng take a detour to find out what Audrey was up to and intercept her, and how did he find out anyway -unless there's another mole or one in the Chinese that Cheng has because only Audrey and the President knew what she was trying to do. I got a kick that one of the President's military advisors is is the actor who plays Stowbridge on Strike Back, which always remided meof Cinemax's version of a 24-ish type show...

  5. "Thank god it ends next week"

But then you'll have to find something else to keep you glued to the set every week.

  6. Pretty good episode, but am I the only one who is super pissed at their promos this season? I mean it doesn't take a genius to read what's gonna happen with Heller. They basically spelled it out for us.

  9. I know, I think that & It's not just 24...all year when I come on here to vote and have a look, it could be the greatest episode and show but still 1 or 2 will vote that. Pointless exercise and way to much time on their hands I think;)

  12. With one episode left, it's now obvious that "24: Live Another Day" will not be groundbreaking, and will not move the series to new heights. That said, it has been a Good Ride, and is much better than the last season of the 24-episode series that ended several years ago.

About last night: "Live Another Day" is speeding towards its finale next week, wrapping up more loose ends, and building towards the expected show-down between Jack & Cheng. Most of the Baddies have been revealed/disposed of: Navarro, Cross, the Russian are all dead or in custody. Mark has been revealed as a Baddie. And, so, Cheng is the Last Baddie Standing. Which is fitting within the context of this 12-episode "epilogue" to the series.

Next week's conclusion, based on the preview, has Audrey as the damsel-in-distress, with Heller (SPOILER: apparently dead from a heart attack) out of the picture, Mark maybe manipulating his way back to power--and betraying Jack again; and, of course, Jack & Kate's fates. My guess is Jack & Kate will survive, and will go on the run together--maybe they kill Mark after he double-crosses Jack yet again. Such an ending would set up a future 12 (or more) episode future season...a new season that could truly advance the Jack Bauer narrative.

  13. Nope I still think season 8 is better and a violent hour of 24, this season was good, but I think not surpass that one and my favorite season 5, but still think is better than season 2 and 3.

  14. It has to be heller in the coffin. I guess when he dropped his medication bottle a poison pill or something along the lines got put into the bottle to kill him off.

  15. If i wanted to read about next week i would have read the preview. Do you honestly think putting spoiler then heart attack right after isn't spoiling it? This thread is about last nights episode not what will happen next week, don't ruin it for others.
